So many great colors all in one paper collection. I had such a fun time working with this amazing kit Sara put together, that I had to get ALL the addons this month :)
Here are my designs...
Thanks so much for looking and make sure you check out this months kit at LRS :)
Hello scrappy Friends. I was going back and forth on awesome challenge ideas I could do for my firstLittle Red Scrapbook DT challenge post on the LRS blog and came up with some pretty fun ideas, but then remembered a challenge I used to look forward to every week, that was done by a couple of my favorite scrapbookers years ago (2006 I believe) and I remembered how so many scrapbookers loved the challenge and how it pushed us to be more creative with our scrapbook supplies.
So I thought I would give this challenge a try on the LRS Blog and see what you thought of it. If it's a hit like it was a few years back, maybe I will make this my new monthly challenge each month, it's up to you and how many people will come join in on it.
So my challenge for you this month is a three (3) product challenge (I have also heard these challenges called a recipe challenge). I will list 3 products you will need to use on a layout. Don't really make layouts because maybe cards are more your thing? That's okay, then use the 3 products on your card.
The 3 items that need to be used for this challenge are...
1. Older patterned paper line/collection 2. Chipboard 3. Buttons
You must use these three items on your creation! I chose "older patterned paper line/collection" because of this post HERE. Which was talking about older scrapbooking paper lines, companies and products we missed and loved that are no longer around.
So lets dip into our supplies (you know all that stuff we hoard ) and get started on this challenge. You can post a link here on the LRS BLOG, in the comments of that post with a link back to where you posted your work, (your blog, online gallery, etc) or you can upload it to the Little Red Scrapbook challenge gallery HERE and link back in a comment on the LRS BLOG post as well.
And to get you going a little more on this challenge, I will be offering a little "PRIZE" package to one lucky person (picked at random) who posts a link to their finished layout/card (if you are going to make a card, I ask that you make 2 with this challenge to make it more fair to those who are making layouts, Thanks ) in the comments section of the post on the LRS BLOG, plus please post your email address there so I can email you and get your info, to get this package out to you if you are the lucky winner. I will pick the winner on May 21st, so you have TWO weeks from today, to get this done.
I will be posting my layout/take on this challenge shortly here and on the LRS BLOG post for this challenge, so please check back soon. I can't wait to see what you all do with this challenge. If you liked or maybe LOVED this challenge, please leave a comment letting me know on the LRS blog, so I can see if this will be a challenge we can continue in the future.

Blog Hop Rules and Prizes from the LRS blog
With the start of the new year we all like to set goals and think of new ways to get organized. With this in mind our talented Design Team has come up with some fun challenges that may help you get started.
Read below to find out all of the ways you can win:
STEP 1: First you will need to leave a comment here (on the LRS blog) and tell us what goal or organization idea you have for the New Year. This will not only inspire all of us with your goal or idea, but it will also get your name entered into a random drawing for a chance to win the blue colored inspired “hodgepodge” prize. Pretty easy so far right!
STEP 2: Second you will need to visit all FIVE blogs and leave a comment on EACH blog. This is important so we know you have been to all of the blogs. If you have left a comment on each of the blogs your name will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win the orange colored inspired “hodgepodge”prize. Another easy peasy way to win!
STEP 3: Once you’ve done that, you will need to check out our Facebook page, and LIKE us. This will put your name in another random drawing for a chance to win the green color inspired “hodgepodge” prize.
STEP 4: For a chance to win the Love LRS Grand Prize head on over to our message board and say hello, then upload your project and/or layout for any of the design team challenges posted on their blogs to the “2012 Out with the Old, In with the New” gallery. The Blog Hop challenges will run from January 27th until midnight January 30th. You can enter as many times as you like. You do not need to be a subscriber to participate. The more entries, the more chances you have to win!
Then on February 1st, be sure to check out our Facebook page, or visit the LRS community or the LRS blog to see if you are one of the lucky winners!
