Whoa my Mary Janes....

" When I wear my Mary Jane shoes, I can escape from the blues, the whole world seems a little bit brighter, brighter, brighter, My heavy steps get a little bit lighter, lighter. I'm just like a child in underoos, from my heart, to my soles, I feel like I am seven, from my head to my toes it's like I'm in heaven, Whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes. Whoa now, Whoa now. When ever I wear my Mary Jane shoes, I enjoy to spin the ones and twos, music has another dimension, and I dance with a different perception, whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes." Song sung to the tune of "No woman no cry" ~ Bob Marley

Love that song by Fergie, When I heard it for the first time months ago I Screamed and then thought AMAZING! Another person just as in love with Mary Janes as I am and there is an AWESOME song (lol it's one of my phone ring tones)! I Have had the love of "Mary Janes" since I was a little girl. No kidding I have pictures of me at least 4 years old in them :) (maybe I will post one lol). Growing up I had lots of different pairs, When we go into San Francisco I have to hit up China Town and pick up a pair of the "old school" Mary Janes, this has become a tradition for me (some of mine are plain, some have flowers, one pair even has cherries lol, I even have a few pair of dressy heel Mary Janes) LOVE THEM!

One name brand company that I have come to LOVE for new style MJ's is "Keen" though they can be a bit to pricey lol, they have AWESOME shoes! I love their Seattle, Berkeley, Calistoga, Malibu, Selway, Humboldt and Chelsea's to name a few LOL. Here is what a few of my favorites look like, and YES I love all the different colors too :) lol

Our second 3D-4D ultrasound

We had our second 3D-4D Ultrasound yesterday. This time my MIL was able to make it there with us which was so great! The session was a little over an hour (I was so surprised and happy, it is such a wonderful place and he was so sweet to work with us and Miss. Adriana again lol.) She of course again was playing the "hide my face game", she will show us all her "Girlie Parts" but not her face, it so cute! We spent MOST of the hour trying all kinds of different ways to get her to move. He had me turn to my sides, cough alot, and a couple times I had to march around the office lol and down the hallway. About 10 minutes to 3:00pm (we had our appointment at 2:00pm) he was about to give up on her ever showing her face, she just loves to have her hands on it and lol even sometimes she will have her feet up near her face (a few times she was sucking on her fingers and toes (we got this all on DVD). I wanted to try something we do at home at night when I am laying in bed, I will have Dustin or one of the boys talk to my tummy. She often moves when we do this. It was amazing to actually get to see her re-act to it this time though. So there I was laying on the bed, and I had Aidan ask her to please move her hands from her face so we can see her, I kid you not (lol again it's all on DVD lol) the second he started talking to her she moved her hands. Aidan kept saying things to her and finally just started singing it to her LOL (He does this all the time, he will sing about what he is doing) By him doing this we were able to get a few shots of her with no hands in her face and a few with just her hands at her lips but we could see most of her face. I CAN NOT believe how much she looks like her brother Austin (lol I know that sounds nuts, BUT I swear just look at these pictures, I should post a profile picture of Austin when he was born and you will see what I mean lol).

Altogether this was another amazing visit. I am so glad we decided to get these 3D-4D Ultrasounds done this time around. This will be our last baby so it makes it extra special for us. We got a few of the 2D ultrasounds done with the boys and all the ones I got each visit to my doctor's office this time around with Adriana, but this was something so different from those, so special for us all, it made it 100 times better have the boys old enough to understand what was going on and what we were all experiencing. I will share the pictures at the end of this blog :)

WHEW, Can I breath now lol, I can not believe I actually have some free time this month LOL, so much has been going on, BUSY BUSY BUSY! This month (so far) has the most stuff written on the calendar for things to do, and this coming week will be the one week where there is a bunch of things going on each day. I have school exams next week, work, appointments, an in office Dr.s Ultrasound where they check baby measurements, Austin's school has stuff going on, Austin's birthday party at Chuck E cheese's, and the list goes on and on. LOL Are you tired from just reading all that? This weekend I was hoping to take it easy, but there are so many things around the house to do plus I have homework and should be studying for my exams next week. I also need to list some eBay auctions and get a little "ME TIME" scrapbooking in somewhere ;)

Okay well I better get the kitchen straighten up and then I am going to take a much needed nap :)

Here are two of the first 3D-4D ultrasound pictures I took at 22/23 weeks, as you can tell Adriana was still very skinny so she looks a little bony/skeleton like.

OOPS lol ......... sorry BLOG

I totally spaced on my blog this past month, sorry about that! So much has been going on and March is gonna be another busy month for all of us. I have Work of course, School, test to take for school (two day all dayers lol), teo Doctor's appointments, two ultrasounds from the Doctor's office appointments, Austin's birthday party and camping with the whole family lol. LOTS of stuff going one. I am tired just thinking about it.

I changed the song on my blog (hee hee does that make you happy Melissa ;)) I put one of my all time favorite artists Norah Jones on. Dustin bought me her CD a few weeks ago and I have been hooked on it! It is soooooooooo GOOD! So if you like good music this is a CD you should pick up.

We found out we are having a GIRL. I had a 3D/4D ultrasound done last month after my regular (now past doctor, I switched hospitals) still could not tell what we were having because the baby was hiding her parts lol by crossing her legs. The 3D/4D ultrasound was amazing! I got a wonderful DVD of the whole thing and even got some pictures of it, One in which shows her parts lol. WE are so excited about having a girl to add to our family (although I would have been just as excited with another boy). We have had a girls name picked out since before Aidan was born so now we finally get to use it :) Her name is Adriana Isabelle (Adriana is a name I have had picked out for soooooo long, heck back when I was PG with Aidan in 2002 posted that that was the girl name I wanted) and Isabelle is one Dustin and I talked about when that old TV show Roswell was on, I loved the name from that show and now the same actress whole played Isabelle plays an Isabelle "Izzie" on my FAVORITE show "Grey's Anatomy". I also have an aunt in Ireland named Isabelle, so it is a name in the family.

I have started getting her room ready for her, since time is flying and she will be here before we know it. She is staying in our retreat room off of our bedroom (my old office) and I have moved my office to the old playroom/guest room. When she is bigger this office will then become her room. We have been picking out paint colors at Home depot, I plan on making the design myself, I have started sketching the paint designs in a notebook and we will be getting the paint withen the next week or so. I can't wait, It is going to be Mono Pink colors ( like pressed flower, strawberry freeze, exotic bloom and sugar plum) there will be circle designs that I hand make, I can't wait to get started! All furniture will be white, so it will really stand out with the painted walls.

Dustin is having such a great time with this too! Everytime we are out shopping he wants to get girlie clothes, it is so sweet to watch him. I have gone a little nuts with the girlie scrapbookproducts lol, and I am so excited because I have started working on her book already, I am making it of course a baby album BUT also filling it with BOM pages about the pregnancy, there is a cravings page of what I love eating while pregnant, a page on my FAVORITE maternity clothes ( LOVE Paris blue and american star maternity jeans), things like that. Maybe when she starts her own family (WAY down the road lol) this book/album will be helpful for her.

I have a few layouts to share here to, I just need to resize them all :)

Okay I better get back to my LRS DT work for March. I will try to post more often I promise, even if it is short and sweet lol :)

TTYL,

Nikki

When life hands you lemons......squeeze them!

It's been a pretty rough week and a half, If I were not in such a good mood, I am sure I would have broken down by now. To say we have problems is an understatement. It all started last Tuesday, Jan 16th. I got up early, made my daily todo list at LM, chatted with some friends on AIM while I got ready for work. I was so excited to finally be running early and getting out of the house early. I was on my way to drop my youngest son off at his great grandmas for a couple hours when the Accident happened. I had switched lanes a couple times, the street I was on was a 35, most people were going 20. One lady pulled in front of me and sped up to about 40. So I stayed behind her, I was not in a hurry nor was I speeding, just wanted to go with the right flow of traffic. Well very close to the main intersection where I would go straight through then turn on GG's street my life flashed before my eyes. What I am sure was only second felt like hours to me! Everything stopped, the music playing on the radio, the sounds around me, it was like my car and everyting on this planet was caught in one of those slow-mo Matrix movie scene. In one split second I knew what my fate was..... I saw the lady who was in front of me, STOP dead in the middle of the intersection (the ones that say do not block right before the main intersection, we will call it the "mini me" of intersections". then I saw what was infront of her but to the left, an ambulance with flashing lights, NO sirens, I saw the men in the Ambulance look at me, I saw what was on their face, I saw their heads shake in a "oh gosh it's to late look", I braced myself, I slightly turned to grab ahold of my son's foot, for his comfort and mine for what was to come, within seconds, The whole two second all this happened my foot was on the breaks, but it was no good, and I knew it the second the woman, two car spaces ahead of me STOPPED point blank in the middle of that intersection, I hit her, from behind, no way to avoid it, it was gonna happen, and it did. after the hit, all at once the sounds, the radio, my son's crying, the throbbing of my knee, the panic setting in, the sheer shock of WHY and HOW all came at me at once, like a split second migrain coming on. After that everything moved so fast, I saw the smoke from my hood, I had no idea what my car looked like on the outside, inside, everything looks okay, other then all the CD's and papers that flew out of the glove box, I got out spoke to the lady a bit, she did not speak english well. Soon the police were there. They were very nice to the both of us. I call my work, I called my husband who was on lunch break so I did not get to speak to him and I called my son's great grandma who came to get him. It was rough and crazy! Finally they cleaned up the mess my car made in the middle of the street (small pieces of the front everywhere.) they called a tow truck because the police officer said it was not drive-able. My DH's grandparents stayed there in their car waiting for me, to se eif I needed a ride. When we could leave I had them take me to urgent care where i had my knee checked out. The Dr. said it was hit hard but nothing to bad. I wanted them to then check the baby, i was feeling a bit sore now and crampy, they said they did not have anything there for that (an US machine) so I called my nurse P. and made an app. for that day. I went in and the baby was fine, moving around all over the screen :) I was told by both doctors that I should be on bedrest for the next two days. So I did, and man did i feel the pain the next day after the accident. My Husband went into work for me. Anyways. We now have my car here at home but it is not drive-able, DH is in the process of fixing it himself, for the mean time I am driving the Explorer SUV.

Anyways I better get to bed now, I am so tired. Here are some pictures of my poor car....

Bloated Cow that is me

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Well I have now reached the point where I can no longer button my regular jeans, so it is time to switch to maternity pants again. I am hoping to go shopping this weekend for a nice sale LOL on maternity pants (who am I kidding those things are mighty pricey) I also did the toilet paper tuesdays at lifetimemoments in the expecting mom's forum and I measure in at 8 1/2 squares lol, yep I am getting a tummy now. Well I am getting close to the 5th month mark, so it is expected, lets just hope my butt does not decide to follow along with my belly and "grow", lord knows I need no more "growing" on this already "grown" butt of mine. Since losing the close to 60 pounds in the last year and a half I no longer fit in to my HUGE maternity clothes I wore while PG with Aidan, but I am still big and need something right now. Anyways here is another picture I got from my Babycenter newsletter for this week, I am now closer to 19 weeks, but well, here lol this is my baby now...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I can not WAIT to find out what it is in another couple weeks, I swear it is another boy but everyone else says Girl, we shall see :)

well I better get off here, it is only 9:00pm and I feel so sorry for the insomniac in me, but tonight I think I may go to bed early (LOL I know Kristie what a shock huh :) lol, such a bad fellow insomniac), I have been up since 5:30am and it's been a love day, mostly of cleaning house, playing taxi driver to everyone most of the day (gotta love Weds lol) and spending half the night searching for my son's birth certificate, bad mommy! I usually have all that stuff together, but when A started school this year I guess I left it with the school stuff lol, because HOURS into searching I found it in a school folder lol. Anyways, My brain is fried tonight so I need to go rest it lol. TTYL

My day in a nut shell, yep the boring stuff....

I was up early this morning, watched a little news, did a load of laundry and then got Austin ready for school, took him and then came back to get ready for work. Today went by pretty fast. I have been home for a couple hours now and SHOULD be doing homework for school tomorrow, but instead I am stuck here LOL, online of course. After I finish blogging I will get to it.

My mother came home today from her long trip/vacation to Ireland. Well, my dad should be at the airport picking her up as I type this. I thought about calling her when I thought she would be home and rested in, but I think I will actually wait until tomorrow. Normally when she gets home from these vacations, she is really tired from getting up early, the LONG plane ride home and the emotions of leaving her family behind. I am sure she will be fine with me calling tomorrow. I spoke to my dad this morning about visiting some time this week, my grandparents will be at their house for most of the week, My grandpa goes in for surgery. I am sure everyone would like to visit and see the boys.

So last night while I should have been in bed resting for my job today LOL, I decided to read instead, I read the whole " A child is born" it was good, I certainly learned alot more about how a baby is made LOL, this coming from a mother of almost three. It was good.

I think this coming week is gonna be a busy one lol, I have a FEW layouts I need to submit to ST and their current call, then my LRS DT KIT should be here soon so I will have that to work on, plus ebay stuff, I LOVE it :)

LOL okay I know this post was a bit boring but hey, my mind is on the homework I should be working on right now lol, so I better get to that. TTYS

Not enough hours in a day

Do you ever feel this way? I have had so many things I want to get done, I start them to only leave them half done. I Fell like there is just not enough time. I woke up early this morning and had a set plan on what I wanted and needed to get done today, a few days ago I came in here, my office/ scraproom, I took on the task of "TRYING" to find some important papers, now here's the little thing and secret about me, on the outside My room looks organized, but if you look deeper lol (actually look in my drawers, filing cabinet, under stuff LOL) you will find that it is a HUGE mess! I mean papers, bills, everything just stuffed inside, very UNorganized lol.

So I woke up with this plan, to go through everything and throw away stuff I did not need and organize the stuff I do need so I actually KNOW where things are and it is not a 5 hour search party everytime I come in here to look for one thing. I Worked on this for about an hour, then of course got pulled away by the sounds of Miss "New York" on VH1's new reality show. Yep Dustin was in our room (my office is a retreat room off of our bedroom so I can hear and see into our room) watching this and of course being the reality whore that I am I stopped organizing to go watch, and got sucked into it. Then of course when that was over I started the whole channel flipping thing, found that court tv has an all day showing of LA Forensics, so I have one hour before that starts LOL, so here I am again, came in here to work, Put Christina Aguilera's "Back to Basics (Disc 2) in the CD player, am I working? Nope, I decided to get online again LOL, Lord knows how the computer sucks you in too, it started out with a little blog reading, then message board visiting, and now blog writing, I SHOULD be 6 feet away digging in my mess of a filing cabinet Organizing away, but here I sit. The day is half gone and I have nothing to show for it. I had major plans for today to. Organizing this messy room, then I was going to work on some things for Ebay FINALLY. I would love to have a few auctions up right now, I truly miss it!

So here's the thing.... Should I just drag my mess of papers out into my bedroom and plant my butt in front of the TV so I can kill two birds with one stone and watch LA forensics and clean my mess LOL, or should I just stay away from the TV altogether and get my mess cleaned up in a steady time, cause come on now, you know as well as I, that if I plant my butt in front of the TV and try and organize my mess at the same time that I will not finish until midnight LOL. But darn it, it sounds so good LOL. I guess I will figure it out LOL

I have an addiction! Every weekend now when my MIL takes my boys for the day, I hop into my car and head to a place, a place where my imagination runs wild, where I can get a nice dose of Hot chocolate, where I can learn about pregnancy, cooking, romance, murder, what's hot and what's not, where I can fight with someone over a chair or find myself sitting on an floor sandwiched between shelves, Yep people, BARNES AND NOBLES. I can not stop going here, and can I just say, I have read three books in two weeks, MAN I have truly missed reading, but baby it's back and I am doing it ;) Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies, I was an 11 year old girl who had a number of Stephen King books under her belt, I look back at my summers as a kid and remember spending alot of it reading (well I did do lots of other things to lol, like shopping, mall, slumber parties, great america trips, etc) but this was my favorite thing to do, I would lay in my backyard and read read read, when season changed I would ride my bike over to our local rose garden and read under the huge redwood trees, or on the grass next to the fountain, reading was my thing and in this life time I have done ALOT of it, sheezzz I have BOXes of books here that if I have an extra room I could make my own Barnes and Nobles with lol. I thank both my parents for my love of reading, My dad started us out young, I will never forget his reading sessions with us, I remember him reading the Hobbit to us as young girls (my sister and I) My mother is amazing with books, that woman can read a whole book in a day, sometimes two. Anywho, I am proud and rather fond of my new addiction, Barnes and Nobles you freakin ROCK! See you this coming Saturday ;) LOL

hmmmm nothing else major going on, I went to my Dr.s appointment last Tuesday and she could not tell us the sex of the baby yet, SO strange because I was 17 weeks pregnant with both my boys and right away they knew, so I have 3 weeks to go until we REALLY find out lol. I can't wait. I can feel it moving so much, it's very exciting. I love being pregnant! I love having kids, it's an amazing gift! I have had so many goals and dreams in life for myself, I have wanted to be so many different things, I think being a MOM, by far has to be the best thing I have ever done with my life, I LOVE it, i am good at it.

Okay well, I better get back to my organizing lol. TTYS

Merry Christmas

WOW! It has been a busy couple weeks, I was in bed for most of last week with a very bad cold and for those of you who have been or are pregnant know there is nothing you can really take, so for the first couple days I was dying LOL. I did find out I could take regular Robitussin, so that helped. You can only imagine what our home looked like while I was sick, I could hardly got out of bed so I had a TON of things to clean up around here yesterday. It was nuts. I have a few last minute gifts to wrap for the boys and D and I am so done. The only thing left to do is go to MIL's Christmas Eve party tonight (LOTS of family there) and come home to bake cookies with the boys for Santa. YUM!

I plan to start posting more here agin like I use to, this month has just been so nuts. I Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy Hoildays.

Saturday/Monday in a nutshell

I woke up early today and cleaned the kitchen, then got ready for work. Work went by pretty quickly. I got home picked up D and Aidan and we all ran a bunch of errands, picked up stuff at Carols for work the rest of the week, then headed to safeway for grocerys, we got 3 nights of food for $23 that was pretty good :) Then we picked up Austin from school. Since being home I have made a few lists of things I will need to do this coming weekend, Grocery shopping for the next two weeks, FINALLY getting our tree lol, Christmas shopping (just a couple things for each boy) bills, Friday I am having lunch with my Best Friend, and Saturday I am having lunch with my dad, and some where I plan on spending some time at Barnes and Nobles. I LOVE it there!

This last Saturday while MIL took the boys I went to Barnes and Nobles and spent 4 1/2 hours there lol. I grabbed a few SB magazines and a couple books and sat down on the floor down the Stephen King/Dean Koontz section (my favorite) I thumbed through a book called "Happy Housewives" by Darla Shine, It was so funny and I am adding that to my wishlist LOL. I also read a whole book called "Cold cases" (Lisa you would love this book, just like the shows on court tv and A&E, ALOT of cases I have never seen before). I could not put this book down so I read the whole thing. I did do a lap around the store to see if any of the lounge chairs were vaccant BUT they were all taken (my butt started hurting after about three hours sitting on the floor with my back against a bookshelf) one was even taken by a stack of magazines and when I tried to move them LOL, a girl from behind a bookcase said that was her spot "did you not see the magazines" UM okay yes but I had no idea Magazines could hold places DUH on my part "eyeroll" (I had grade school flashbacks of Becky saving lindas chair with her hair tie). So I went back to my corner with Dean and Stephen, I like it better down there anyways, LOL would people think I was nuts if I brought one of those folding chairs in a bag (you know the kind lol, people bring them to ballparks or camping and popped a squat in my section with stephen and Dean? Maybe I will do that next time. Heck my excuse? I am pregnant people lay off me LOL ;)

Alright I have homework to do and a bit of a sweet tooth, I am going to go get a spoonful of rainbow frosting from the fridge and hit the books before bed. Nightie night

:( Just me

Do you ever just feel like you don't belong any where? This is me at this moment...

A little of this, A little of that....

Hmmmm where to start? It's been a long month since I last posted, so many things going on, good and bad. What should I start with first? Okay how about the good stuff?

I had another Ultrasound and got some new pictures. The baby is doing fine, VERY active on the screen. I found out that I am actually two days ahead of what I thought I was. We will find out what we are having on Jan 2 ( so 2 1/2 weeks), I totally think it's another boy. I just have that feeling you know. Looks like I made it through this pregnancy with no morning sickness, how great is that :)

I got an A in school on my first course and it's moving right along, I am very happy with it and as soon as this baby is born I will be headed to bigger and better things in life, I am excited! D also finished his first Course at school and hopefully will be getting a job soon with the electician stuff soon.

I have alot more free time coming up now, work is going good.

Okay now on to the not so good stuff. I have been so depressed the last few weeks. Everything gets me so down in the dumps! Money is one of the big things. Right now we are just getting by from our paychecks to paychecks. His are going straight to rent (one whole check each month) and the bills. Then there is my $150 I get from my job each week that pays for the gas in our cars and food for the week. It really is the pits but one good thing is we are pretty much doing this on our own now. We get paid soon and that will go towards the Christmas tree (Austin has been asking for it for two weeks now and we have to keep telling him that we are waiting for the 15th.) a couple small gifts for the boys and the rest goes into bills and our living needs for the next 3 weeks since I will not be working due to the school break. I think things will finally start looking up money wise after the new year, we shall see.

Myself and all the girl on the DT for the only Manuf. DT I was on were let go last week in an email. The company just did not make it in the Scrapbook industry, so it shut down :( ? I am so sad! I am now only on one DT for THEE best DT I have ever been on LRS. It has been the best experience I have had yet with DT's and I am happy to have it. Just bummed about the MD dt but what can I do? I am looking around to see if there is something else out there for me to be apart of, I am giving up on the chances of being on anymore Manuf. DT's so far the ones I have been on or been asked to try out for have all either closed or just stopped talking to the memebers. I am thinking I want to be apart of an online store/Community. I have been in the past and enjoyed it. Just need to look around I guess.

I have been let down by a few people the last couple weeks and it's been depressing. I know the hormones have gotten me all wacky lately but there are certain things you do not do to your friends! The only thing I can think to do, to stop being hurt is to just let them go! It's not worth it to me anymore.

Alright well I need to go clean up the kitchen and the dinner mess. TTYS

Coming up for air

First off I had an US done last week, Long story short I was having cramps and went into the ER (Spent 8 hours there, 13 hours in pain) Everything is fine, the baby looked so cute! Like a kidney bean with a heart beat if you want to read more I posted about it HERE.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I have had one CRAZY busy week! I had the week off from my REAL job, but it has been so BUSY! First off I have been working none stop on the LM auction stuff, I have spent the last two night up until 2:30am checking emails, pm's, IMs and getting auctions up, I love doing this stuff, just takes up lots of time. I also have a bunch of DT work to do. I will be working on that more shortly (like when I finish this blog lol) but here I sit in my office/ scraproom and I totally feel like rearranging things around LOL, should I go with it or should I get my butt to work?

I am feeling better this week, not so tired like I have been, I think in part it has to do with me walking more. I still have get to get morning sickness. I have my first official Dr's appointment this Tuesday, which means my lovely DH will be working for me at the school that day. Tuesday's are the only days I can make it into the Dr's office, but dh was nice enough to say he would work for me (remember it is his aunts business) so we can get the money. He is really good at it too. Lets see, we also have Austin's school teacher meeting this coming week. He is doing so good in school! I am so very proud of him. We can actually put Aidan in school if we want to because the only thing that was holding him back this past summer was him only being partly potty trained (which means he has to not pee his pants if he naps lol) well I am happy to say we no longer have any kids in diapers (well for some time now), until the baby comes. SWEET! I love that lol.

Okay well I better get back to work on the LM auction and my DT work, plus i want to submit a few layouts to a call :) Wish me luck, I seriously need it, no one likes me stuff anymore LOL.

TTYL hope you have a great Friday!

Playlist

Just a quick post to let you know that I added a playlist to my video that plays at the bottom of the page, there are over 60 songs on it that you can choose from, or you can do like I do and leave the page open playing all the songs while you work lol :) If there is a song/video you want me to add just leave a comment letting me know what you would like on there. The songs and artists on there now are some of my favorites :) ENJOY!

Baggie Challenge, Layouts, ST Journaling call, Randomness

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Here is my layout I made for the Lifetimemoments Baggie Challenge that I WON today :) So excited, I love this layout, it is simple but to the point and I love the journaling, I am not going to leave it up to long though because I want to submit it to the Scrapbook Trends Journaling Ideabook along with a few others I am posting. I am so excited about this book and that there is a call for it. For those of you who know me and my scrapbooking style and passion, JOURNALING is my most favorite part of scrapbooking, it means so much to me and is on 98% of my work. Journaling is the main "memory" part of a layout IMO, It is what tells the story of your pictures, what when you read it helps you remember that moment. Even if I do not make it into this ideabook I am WAY TO excited to see and buy it! Another awesome thing is, Kara Henry (My very own mentor), this is her baby, her dream ideabook that she is doing for ST. I can not wait to see it for her stuff and advice on journaling. AWESOMENESS I tell ya!

Here are a few other layouts that I have done recently for LRS and just because that I have not posted here yet.

Lets see, I have been napping alot lately, not really use to it but I know it has to do with being pregnant lol. When I nap it is for a couple hours and I wake up feeling like I have lost my day or alot of time I could have been doing something lol.

Aidan loves giving kisses right now lol, He wants eyelash kissies, noses kissies, blow kissies (kisses where he kisses his hand and then blows them to you) etc, lol when I am driving him in the car he will sit back there yelling at me to give him kissies LOL, I have to tell him that i love him but mommy can't right then because she is driving.

Austin is doing so good in school, he is one SMART boy! We went on his school fieldtrip to the Grant pumpkin patch yesterday and the teachers and mothers had nothing but good things to say about him. I will post pictures from it tomorrow and tell you a couple stories or what happened lol.

Did you know that I am the BIGGEST John Mayer fan :) lol sheezzzzz thought you knew ;) We went on a 4 hour trip to BIL's last Sunday and the wonderful husband that I have let me listen to all the John Mayer CD's I have LOL, and he even sang along with some of the songs lol, I even caught SIL taking her IPOD headphones off to listen to a few. He is AWESOME ladies!

I cleaned my scraproom just a couple days ago and although it has been a few days since I have scrapped it is a mess again. Go figure.

I am going to start making things for ebay auctions again :) I really miss it and I could use the etra money for maternity clothes and what not.

I have started the LM charity auction stuff, this is always such a busy time of the year for me when it comes to this, I eat, sleep and dream of this auction, it is my night and day, it takes up so much time but the end result is amazing, the families we help, the children that will have a Christmas, that is so worth it PLUS it is fun :) After the auction I will start taking pms and emails for people we can sponsor, so if anyone reads my blog and wants to donate anything they have handmade, Cards, kits, layouts anything please email me at lifetimemomentsauctions@yahoo.com or go to this thread here to read about it more " Lifetime Moments Christmas Charity Auction ".

I have soooooooo much homework to do this week and it is due on Tuesday so guess what my weekend will be spent doing LOL, no problem I love doing it. I have to read over 100 pages lol.

The mail man came so late tonight (around 5:30-6pm) I am so sad because I kept going outside to check and at around 5:15pm I gave up and went into take a nap, so he came and went and left a "sorry we missed you slip in my mailbox saying he has a package I need to sign for. waaaaa I missed a package. I have to call tomorrow because I am not sure if they are going to redeliver or if they want me to go to the PO to pick up. I am thinking it is from my secret Halloween sister from the pub :) I can't wait to see!

I DROVE all around town two days ago to many LSS just to find a scrapbook trends, I so wish they sold them at walmart here like they did in Idaho, I can not believe that NONE of the lss stores had it in but the last one. I am on the look out for the SEPT issue of Scrapbook Trends so if anyone has an extra copy or does not need theirs I am willing to pay :)

Okay well I better get going, I need to pick up a little before D gets home soon :)

Thanks for reading :) Leave a comment and say hi if you read my blog, I would love to know who all is reading it :)

Pregnant, my birthday, YUCK

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Tuesday October 10th we found out we are pregnant. We did not announce it to our family until the day of my birthday (Tuesday Oct 17th, so a week later) we were just trying to find the right time plus getting use to the SHOCK of being pregnant. We wanted a 3rd baby, we were just planning on trying for it next year lol, so we were very surprised, we were being safe for the most part anyways. We are very excited. My hormones are everywhere right now lol, One second I am excited and happy with the day and then one second I am grouchy and moody lol, SO IT BEGINS. Everything will remain as is, we both will continue with school, we both will still be working etc. We are hoping for a little girl to add to the mix of boys in the house lol, and so I am not so out numbered LOL, but we would be just as happy with a healthy little boy. :)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

So my 28th Birthday past last week. It was an awesome day, not only did we tell our whole family we are expecting our third child, but we got to spend the day with our families :)
First my MIL came over with that yummy MUDD pie cake in the picture up there :) but then my parents called and wanted to take us out to eat. We chose Chevy's, a Yumm-o Mexican restaurant. My dad had to cancel at the last minute because he forgot he had signed up for a class that night in Frisco, so it was just us and my mom. It was sooooooooo good, I had a Fajita burrito, D had Fajitas, and the boys had Quesadillas. After dinner we went back to my parents house where my mom had a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake for me :) (wow I am a lucky girl, two cakes in one day lol) It was soooooooooo good, vanilla ice cream with chocolate cake. It was an awesome Birthday!!!! :)

Yuck I have had some what of a rotten day today, WAY to much whining so I will not bore you with that, I am ready to finish the laundry and my homework and head to bed lol. I just wanted to make sure I updated my blog with what has been going on lately. I will try and post more often ;)

PS I got an A on my test last week at school YAY :) I took it on my birthday lol

mmmmmm So it starts

Yep, so it starts lol, I have been craving everything this past weekend, the never ending tummy, no sickness yet, good sign maybe lol? I just finished a HUGE plate of salad and I am still hungry, again so it starts lol. I have been SO tired lately to, I finally gave up caffeine (no more soda and coffee, waaaaaaaaaaaa lol, This with the hormones would explain my last post (blush), I know better then to act like a whiny baby, sorry for those of you who read this blog.)

Today I think has got to be one of the worst days so far at work, but one you just gotta sit back and laugh at. I knew I was forgetting something the second I walked out the door this morning. I had a car full of stuff that needed to be store at the school, so I figured I had everything...WRONG, I forgot the darn box of trays, and the towels, whatever would the kids eat on. Thankfully there were some in the storage shed. One thing went wrong there and then everything went down hill from there, but I did not let it bug me, just laughed about it. Tomorrow will be better.

Speaking of tomorrow it's my birthday. Not expecting much until this weekend when D said he was taking me out :) I can't wait, maybe we could even see a movie or go to babe's (sports bar, has awesome Cobb salad that is just to die for!) and hang out. I have to work tomorrow and of course school were I have a test (YUCK), not sure I am ready for it YIKES.

I made a BUNCH of new layouts this weekend :) that I can't wait to post :) lol I have like 15 new layouts to post now LOL (blush) sorry, I do have time this week, I have two days off of work at the end of the week YAY :)

Well I better get going, I need to pick D up from work soon. TTYS

Sigh, is it really worth it? WHINE WHINE

A little moody today, could be hormones (eyeroll) or the extra emotions I have been experiencing lately lol, but I am wondering "is it really worth it" To submit to magazines? I mean I have been published off and on since 2004, but it's been almost a year now since I was published in a magazine (layout that is, not cards). I stopped submitting for a while because I was getting so down about it, so I decide to give it a chance again, and sent in like 15 new layouts to Scrapbook Trends, 15!!!! I thought well lets cross those fingers and toes and pray at least one (just one) gets published, That someone has to like something of mine there again right? NOPE, nothing. Calls went out yesterday and I did not get one. I think I have a different kinda style from others, I try and make this eye catching, yes people I know "Scrapbook for the memories" not to get published, but AH! Sometimes it would be nice if at least ONE flipping layout I made, made it into a magazine again.

Okay rant over, I will try and post the new layouts I have been working on soon.

WOW! John Mayer rocks in concerts!

WOW! Well I guess I should be tied up and shot by the bad blogger police. It has almost been a month since I last posted! SO SORRY! So much has been going on and I THINK it is slowing down a bit now lol. Not only am I working 5 days awake, but I started school to lol. I know I am nuts but it feels so good! I have also been scrapbooking alot more, which is nice :) I will post a few layouts I have done in the last week in a half here either tonight or tomorrow (depends on if I want to resize right now or tomorrow lol).

So BIG HUGE exciting news (no I am not pregnant lol) Is that this past Sunday Oct 1st, My parents bought for me for my birthday (early since my Bday is not until Oct 17th) Tickets to the John Mayer concert. It was amazing. Bummer facter was that there were no cameras allowed and i kicked myself in the ass after the concert and after seeing all the people who smuggled theirs in lol. So I used the next best thing I had, My camera phone, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE shots lol, but I at least got something LOL. Now if I can figure out how to get them from my phone to here I will post a few lol. This concert was amazing, even Dustin enjoyed it and loved the music. John sang new songs off the new CD (gravity (this was my all time favorite of the night, it was truly something!), slow dancing in a burning room, etc) and older songs ( why georgia, no such thing, bigger than my body, etc) AMAZING concert! I did not want it to end, in fact i was sad when it ended, My two favorite guys in one place, the amazing music, songs, it was perfect, When we were leaving out of shoreline (were the concert was held) They had white Christmas lights in the trees outside and it reminded me of Johns video for "no such thing" it was perfect, and then Dustin starts to lead me back towards the entrance and he is not saying why, for a split second I thought what is it? Could it be john? My heart started to beat a little fast and then I saw it, Free posters LOL, and Dustin snatched me up the last one on the table. I was Happy needless to say and on our way out we got to sneak one last look at the tour buses :) Once again it was just an amazing night!

Okay well I need to finish a layout I am working on for the LM Scraptoberfest so i will upload those layouts tomorrow, warning, there is a bunch LOL. See you then and so sorry for the blog neglect, I hope you all don't hate me to much. (BLUSH)

WHEW what a week, Work, Move and Continuum

I am so tired lol. In one weeks time who ever would have thought someones life would change so much. Last Tuesday I went into my 8:40am DMV appointment and took my drivers test for the first time in my 27 years of life lol....and I PASSED. I am so excited, I know you all are thinking WHAT, Just now getting her license to drive, if you have been a loyal blog reader, friend or family you know why lol.

We also finally moved into our new home. We closed on the house on Friday (Sept 1st). It's been unpacking city here. Okay I moved around alot as a child (Mom always had us moving) and when I was a "fresh" new adult (on my own), I moved a bit also lol, once you have a family of your own moving is tough lol. So much to unpack, so much to go through, I am finally going through all the boys baby clothes and will be listing some on eBay. We are also going to have a Garage sale at MIL'S house soon.

So my life has really changed this month! I went from a SAHM for the pass 5 years, not really having a life of her own, not going out much (a big change from what my life was like before kids and being married) to a working mom, woman, feeling like I am getting "my life back. I get up at 4:00am to get Dustin up for work, head back to bed at 4:30am, get back up at 7:30 to get Austin ready for school (he just started Kinder last week, my first born is growing up sniff sniff) fed etc, getting Aidan up to go with us to drop Austin off , get back home to get ready for work and get the food cooked for work, leave for either work with Aidan or drop him off at Dustin's grandparents, get to work, if Aidan is with me then Dustin is there 10 minutes later to pick him up to head home well I work until 12:30pm, I don't get home until 1pm and I normally have to run a few errands once I am home. I like this new busy life, makes me feel a bit independent and like I have a purpose other then just staying home. I have to say, I do enjoy the alone time I do get driving home from work :) I get to play my music, sing at the top of my lungs if I want to (Like today, I had my PINK (I'm not dead) cd in and was jammin to "Who knew" lol and then I put in my John Mayer "Room for squares" CD and jammed to the first 5 songs, "City love" (my of my favorites) being the last one on when I pulled into our drive way lol, I had to sit there for a few second to finish it and Dustin came to greet me lol (he was probably wondering what I was doing LOL).

Anyways, see BUSY girl nowadays lol. I plan on joining Golds Gym next week and adding that in there everyday LOL, I will being going right after work. I have also started going to the salon with my mom every other weekend to, for my nails and toes ;) It's been nice being pampered like I use to before I became a SAHM.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

So I got home from work today and came into my office/scraproom to unpack a little more in here, I was searching for some things I need for some current DT stuff I am working on. Dustin was in here on the computer (thesamba.com), after he left I decided to get on a read some emails, I got one from John Mayer saying he would be on late night tonight and CBS tomorrow (the BB7 Peeps will be on tomorrow too) then it dawned on me that today is Sept 12, TUESDAY, DUH, John's new CD came out today, so I round up the gang and we headed out to Tower Records lol. I walk right in and there he is, well not John himself but a HUGE display full of the new "Continuum" CD's and all his others, it was awesome, kicking my self in the arse for not bringing my camera and having D take a picture of me next to it lol (you know you are a scrapbooker when you think like this "eyeroll") Anyways it had three different price tags on it, $18.99, sale price for $13.99 and then Special price for just today (it came out today) $11.99. So I picked it up and went straight to the counter, where I of course had to buy two packs of Skittles for the boys LOL (they take after their mother with them Skittles). Dustin puts it on when we get in the car, and after a few songs on the way home, he says, I know alot of these songs, and I say um yes lol, some are from the Try CD, and a couple ( I don't trust myself(with loving you) and Stop this train) I have had on my itunes for MONTHS now. I have a nice (Big) collection of John's covers, songs he sings in concerts and different versions of his songs he sings on my itunes. Sometimes while I work I will turn it on and sit here for hours listening to them. Anyways if you are a John Mayer fan or want to hear some amazing music and lyrics that have meaning go out and get this Album! You will be happy! And while you are at it pick up the Try (JM3) CD lol it's awesome to, heck all his cd's are LOL.

I am still trying to get those John Mayer tickets for his Oct 1st concert here at the shoreline, all that is left now is the lawn seats (waaaaa) which I would totally take, just to be there and see/hear John, but I want closer LOL, so I am going to look on eBay and see what they have, This will be my Bday gift to myself next month lol.

Okay I better get going, I have DT work to finish up and send in. Night

WOW! What a day!

Right now I just need to take in some air and exhale.

What a day! It was simple amazing! We all woke up pretty early. We slept in the front living room at MIL'S (second to the last night here lol) I fell asleep watching the Degrassi marathon (LOL stop laughing at me I said before it is one of my favorite teen-ie shows lol). MIL treated us to breakfast at the country in, I had a Bacon omellet YUM! Then we all came back and started packing what we have had here for the last 4 months (while waiting for our house to be built). I logged online to check email and found one from Alannah from Arctic Frog saying I was in the Top 10 for AF DOND again. I was so excited :). We moved that load into the new house and came home to get ready for D's uncles 50th B-day dinner at Maggiano's "Little Italy" in Santana Row. I called to tell my mom and dad that things were still on (I called earlier to cancel because I was just going to stay home so I could go to the AF DOND chat lol) for the boys coming over while we went to the resturant. We drove the boys over. I got to meet and see my great Aunt Ruby and Great uncle Sammy who are in town and staying with my folks from Ireland. I LOVE their accents :) It was wonderful to meet them. They are "jewlery" people in Ireland and my aunt Ruby brought both my sister and I these amazing gold bracelets. They are Goregous! (I am wearing mine now lol), we had a quick visit ( we would be back after dinner) and were off to Maggiano's.

This place was amazing! There were 10 of us so we did the party ordering, we got to pick two of each course, (I had no idea how this works but later learned that eating out like this is a 2+ hour meal lol) First the waiters/service was awesome! They start you off with bread lol, 10 minutes later you get the first Apps and salads, 20 minutes it's the first entree', and so on until you get to the two desserts. We got there at 5:15, seated at 5:30. so Half way through and after the first entree, Dustin and I had to leave so I could come play DOND :) or at least see if I would be playing lol, MIL said If I was not chosen we could come right back (the resturant is only a couple blocks away.) I honestly thought I would be right back.

So we get in the car and it is 6:45pm, I am like Dustin, I need to be logged in to the computer by 7pm to see if I get to play tonight, so we went down the three floors or the parking garage and he took short cuts home (MIL'S) lol, lol not to many since it's not that far away lol. I walk into the house at 6:55pm and log into the AF chat at 6:57pm lol. Just making it. There were so many great ladies from LM there, I was so excited to see them all :) Even my dear friend Kristie was there, I can not tell you how happy i was to see her :) And of course Miss Susan. I don't know if any of you have been in a DOND chat before but just the chat part is awesome! Alannah said she was going to call out the players name for tonight, guess what happens LOL, I logged out of chat LOL. (I had to do this a few times tonight, MIL computer is so strange, I would hit enter or the backspace button and it would log me out of chat lol) Anyways, she called MY NAME! (shocked!). I was so nervous and excited! I had such a great time, and I walked away with amazing prizes, I am now the proud winner of a few lines of AF paper and rubons, I can not wait to get this package! So many great goodies I get to add to my amazingly huge collection of AF I like to hoard AHEM collect LOL. What am awesome time I had! If you have not played this game yet, you should try this coming week, the challenges are great and the chatting and game are awesome! I plan to keep doing the challenges for the rest of the game. Ohhhh and I am so buying a Hoodie and a clock (for my new scraproom) lol from the AF cafepress shop ;) I need me an AF hoodie LOL.

Okay well I need to get off of here, Dustin is telling me I should head to bed (he is right) because we have a long day of moving the rest of our stuff in tomorrow. I will be without my computer until next week :( because we had issues with the cable/highspees net company. They will be fixing it sometime next week. I will post just as soon as it is up with pictures of our new place :)

Nikki

Still so excited about this awesome day! :)
