Onsies, So tired, So ready

I admit it, I have a bit of a problem here lol, My Daughter is going to be set with onsies, I just love them lol, so cute, so easy and perfect for summer weather. We have the purple and pink collections from Carters (I still need to get the unisex one, with the oranges and greens and whites). She also has a few patterned ones and plain colored ones. FUN FUN FUN :)

Cute right? lol I also got the boys these really cute shorts and sprocket (LOVE this brand for the boys) shirts from Mervyns, they love them :) Perfect for summer, I plan to go back soon and get a few more for them. I will upload pictures of them in them tomorrow :)

Well I survived the carpet cleaning this weekend, for a while there I thought I would never get the 8 carpeted areas clean, or I would either go into labor trying or die LOL, it was hard work! I am so looking forward to tomorrow and kinda relaxing. I get to scrapbook YAY lol, I have a few more things to finish up for LRS and my DT stuff, fun stuff.

Okay well I better get into bed, It's late and I have to get up early to run a few errands. I will post more tomorrow :)

I leave you with more Baby girl goodness :)

Saw this at BRU when we picked up the car seat and just had to have it for her, cute little summer outfit. Dustin picked out a bathing suit but I am not sure about it LOL :)

Her Nursery, Pictures, Babies R us Registry

Well I finally uploaded some of the pictures of what we did with her nursery. It is so far from being done, we still have more shelves to buy, the crib, changing table and the glider, this will be a few more weeks so she will be here before this is finished lol.

With the colors I chose ones I just loved from the Bazzill PINK mono pack lol, talking about being a scrapbooker LOL. The colors of her room are Beige, sweetheart, Petunia and white. D had such a great time working on the painting of the room, he did it in two days. He is so excited about having a daughter and this just made him so happy to do.

Now this room is called a retreat room which means another room that opens up off of a master bedroom (it also means there is a big arch way for a door (so no door, which is great, so when she wakes at night we can hear her.) This is the room that use to be my office/scraproom (and will be again someday lol, we plan to give her the bigger room (with door lol) that my office is in now when she is old enough to be away from her parents lol, so about 1 1/2 or 2, or when the time comes to get the BIG GIRL BED.)

Okay here are the pictures lol...

Like I said we did a lot of planning when it came to the paint and what we wanted for her room. Dustin took two sheets of the bazzill cardstock colors we liked down to Home Depot and had them custom make the paint for her room...

Here is a picture of the room before it was painted, sorry it's so yellow, it was taken at night so there was no natural light coming in from any of the windows.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

D spent the first night just setting up the plastic on the floor, all the blue tape for masking off and getting things ready for the painting in the morning, here he is putting on the light pink color...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Here he is painting away....

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We even had helpers LOL, Austin helped his dad put the tape on the night before and Aidan helped with the painting the next day, they were both so excited to help get their sisters room ready...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Here D is removing the tape from the walls and window...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Here is the room just about finished, all that was left was cutting the moulding and adding it to the wall (where the white line is in the middle of the two pink colors....

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Here is a picture of the wall with the moulding and her bassinet (sorry again for the picture this one was also taking at night).

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Here is a closer look at the moulding...

When I get the room totally done i will post all the pictures :) but this is what we have done so far.

So my mom Told me that some of the family member who read my blog :) wanted to know what to get us for the baby, she said she told them just get clothes but it's not what they want to get, they want to get what we need, so a couple months ago I put together a Registry at BabiesRUS.com and have been adding things we could use. There are a few clothing items but it's mostly things we could use besides clothes. I thought I would post it here for you all to see (who asked for it), so here you go... (if you can get to it from the link then if you click on "Baby Registry" on the first page (Homepage) then you just have to fill in the info which is the Registry number 41179137

Here is the link I think LOL....

Okay well I better get back to my cleaning :)

Still here

sigh, I am still here with baby in belly lol. I am in SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much pain this past week, contractions left and right for hours, I am sooo soooo soooo tired these days, I managed to get the house all cleaned yesterday but that was so forced! Adriana dropped a while ago and she really adds so much pressure to my pelvic area, I can feel her head down there and if I lift my leg or move it in a different position I can feel her move her head back and forth. LOL Last night I decided to take a shower before bed, I also decided it was time to "TRY" and shave, it was the hardest thing to do! I was "trying" to bend and it hurt so bad and I could tell I was upsetting her so I just gave up lol. We are getting more and more excited everyday. I worked more on her room Monday, and it so far it looks good, i will upload a few pictures today when I get home from work. Ahhhh yes I am still working LOL, can have the baby anyday now and I am still working, this is my last week though and I LOVE the paychecks lol. Plus it has helped at keeping my mind away from the pain of being so far along in this pregnancy. Okay well I better get back to getting ready for work, I will post when I get home with a few photos.

Randomness yet again

WOW! It has been a while huh, sorry about that. We have been so super busy. This coming week is my last week of work so I should have more free time after that before the baby comes. Right now I am eating a bowl of Kellogg's raisin bran crunch (Ell-o govona, love that commercial lol) but secretly wishing I had me a bacon egg and cheese biscuit from McDonald's or even better Jack in the box, mmmmmmmm.

I should be getting ready for work but I find myself here, online reading emails and playing a little catch up on blogs and posts on the MB's. Now for some randomness.....

Cars- Why is it every time we get caught up with money and bills and make plans for something really fun, the cars decide to die on us, and almost always at the same time? So my explorers brakes died, It cost $1,700+ to fix it (thankfully my folks helped us out with this because WOW, To get brakes fixed (to actually pay for just the parts involved) it is not to much money, but they really give it to you with labor costs! I mean one small piece that costs $12.99 costs $150.00 for them to put in! It was over $1000 just in labor. Fast forward to this week, D's VW bug (and hobby car) died on him, this time it's the tranny, so now that is another $1,300 we have to put into a car.

Vacation (NOT!)- So D and I have been planning this small, tiny, little vacation to the VW show in Sacramento this weekend for a while now, this time we have a babysitter for the boys (MIL) and working car (the explorer) and everything is set. Well not really now (SEE ABOVE "Cars"), I feel horrible :( Dustin really deserves this, he has been working so hard lately with both his jobs, This show was really for him, we went not to long ago here in town and took the boys, bad idea! LOL They were whiny the whole time, I think a bit of the heat and just being a bit to young to enjoy it made for the bad day, well this new trip and show was suppose to be the reward for D's hard work and said bad day above. But now that the VW Bug is in the shop, that took away any money and plans we had for this weekend. I really wanted this for him and selfishly for me, this was our chance! A chance to get away, together, just the two of us before the baby came.

Boys- Austin is doing such an amazing job this year in school, I can not believe how smart our son is! His teacher just loves him so much to, she says if she had the power to clone she would totally have a cloned Austin. I am amazed at school Austin and how differently he is from Home Austin LOL. School Austin is so well behaved, he has NEVER been in trouble, he gets awards weekly for his smarts and for how well he behaves, he is so totally smart and his favorite thing..... "MATH" where did that come from lol ;) although I was good at math (Thanks Dad) when I put my mind to it, I HATED it lol, my favorite subject was English/Reading and writing. This school year my son has learned so many things, he reads and writes, does math and can school his own mom on animal life and ocean life, he is simply amazing!
Aidan is doing great to! He has been spending alot of time with my parents (they babysit while I work), he really enjoys their company, and talks about them all the time when we are not with them. He misses them on the days I have off from work lol, it's really cute. Between swimming, Tball practice and games, school, park play and everyday life with the boys, they really keep me on my feet :)

Baby- We spent last weekend working more on her room, I took pictures (Before and afters) of the painting we did. I really like it! I chose two pink colors from the Bazzill Mono lines (LOL) and D had the guys at home depot mix us up the paint that match the bazzill samples. Her room colors are the two pinks, white and a cream/tan color. We plan to try and finish up what we can this weekend. I can not wait to finally meet her :) I am getting so close, the boys are so excited, D can't wait.

I have a million more things to say but no time to write it all out right now, I need to get things ready for work, I will try and post more tonight when I get home.

Happy Easter, big girl Jewelry, randomness

LOL As I type I just asked my husband for the Cereal box to finish off the milk in my bowl, anyone else have to do this? lol

HAPPY Easter. We are all almost ready to go to the San Jose Bike blessing, something we have been doing as a family since Austin was born, in those 6 years we have only missed one year and it was when we lived in Idaho. PHEW I finally have a little time to breathe. I have been so busy lately which has made me so tired. But then at 8 months pregnant one tends to be more tired right? I am getting so excited to meet Miss. Adriana. She is so very active, which is the best thing ever, I love feeling her move. DH's aunt (and my boss at work) threw me the most wonderful surprise baby shower on March 23rd. I walked in to see our whole family (well the woman in our family lol, in laws and all.) it was amazing. I cried lol. I will post pictures of the goodies Miss. Adriana got later (probably tomorrow).

Austin started his first year of Little league, he is in T-Ball and LOVES it. He is a Yankee lol. I will upload pictures of that too soon.

I was going through my jewelry box this morning and realized that I have alot of junk jewelry, jewelry that I LOVE but not "real" jewelry, I mean I have some "real" pieces but a lot of cheaper stuff too, I think I need to start upgrading lol, I LOVE jewelry, I have a lot but I want fancy stuff lol. So I am going to start collecting ;) some lol and adding to what I have.

Okay I know short but sweet lol, We are now on our way out so I must go. I will post those pictures soon. HAPPY Easter again.

Whoa my Mary Janes....

" When I wear my Mary Jane shoes, I can escape from the blues, the whole world seems a little bit brighter, brighter, brighter, My heavy steps get a little bit lighter, lighter. I'm just like a child in underoos, from my heart, to my soles, I feel like I am seven, from my head to my toes it's like I'm in heaven, Whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes. Whoa now, Whoa now. When ever I wear my Mary Jane shoes, I enjoy to spin the ones and twos, music has another dimension, and I dance with a different perception, whoa my Mary Janes, Whoa my Mary Janes." Song sung to the tune of "No woman no cry" ~ Bob Marley

Love that song by Fergie, When I heard it for the first time months ago I Screamed and then thought AMAZING! Another person just as in love with Mary Janes as I am and there is an AWESOME song (lol it's one of my phone ring tones)! I Have had the love of "Mary Janes" since I was a little girl. No kidding I have pictures of me at least 4 years old in them :) (maybe I will post one lol). Growing up I had lots of different pairs, When we go into San Francisco I have to hit up China Town and pick up a pair of the "old school" Mary Janes, this has become a tradition for me (some of mine are plain, some have flowers, one pair even has cherries lol, I even have a few pair of dressy heel Mary Janes) LOVE THEM!

One name brand company that I have come to LOVE for new style MJ's is "Keen" though they can be a bit to pricey lol, they have AWESOME shoes! I love their Seattle, Berkeley, Calistoga, Malibu, Selway, Humboldt and Chelsea's to name a few LOL. Here is what a few of my favorites look like, and YES I love all the different colors too :) lol

Our second 3D-4D ultrasound

We had our second 3D-4D Ultrasound yesterday. This time my MIL was able to make it there with us which was so great! The session was a little over an hour (I was so surprised and happy, it is such a wonderful place and he was so sweet to work with us and Miss. Adriana again lol.) She of course again was playing the "hide my face game", she will show us all her "Girlie Parts" but not her face, it so cute! We spent MOST of the hour trying all kinds of different ways to get her to move. He had me turn to my sides, cough alot, and a couple times I had to march around the office lol and down the hallway. About 10 minutes to 3:00pm (we had our appointment at 2:00pm) he was about to give up on her ever showing her face, she just loves to have her hands on it and lol even sometimes she will have her feet up near her face (a few times she was sucking on her fingers and toes (we got this all on DVD). I wanted to try something we do at home at night when I am laying in bed, I will have Dustin or one of the boys talk to my tummy. She often moves when we do this. It was amazing to actually get to see her re-act to it this time though. So there I was laying on the bed, and I had Aidan ask her to please move her hands from her face so we can see her, I kid you not (lol again it's all on DVD lol) the second he started talking to her she moved her hands. Aidan kept saying things to her and finally just started singing it to her LOL (He does this all the time, he will sing about what he is doing) By him doing this we were able to get a few shots of her with no hands in her face and a few with just her hands at her lips but we could see most of her face. I CAN NOT believe how much she looks like her brother Austin (lol I know that sounds nuts, BUT I swear just look at these pictures, I should post a profile picture of Austin when he was born and you will see what I mean lol).

Altogether this was another amazing visit. I am so glad we decided to get these 3D-4D Ultrasounds done this time around. This will be our last baby so it makes it extra special for us. We got a few of the 2D ultrasounds done with the boys and all the ones I got each visit to my doctor's office this time around with Adriana, but this was something so different from those, so special for us all, it made it 100 times better have the boys old enough to understand what was going on and what we were all experiencing. I will share the pictures at the end of this blog :)

WHEW, Can I breath now lol, I can not believe I actually have some free time this month LOL, so much has been going on, BUSY BUSY BUSY! This month (so far) has the most stuff written on the calendar for things to do, and this coming week will be the one week where there is a bunch of things going on each day. I have school exams next week, work, appointments, an in office Dr.s Ultrasound where they check baby measurements, Austin's school has stuff going on, Austin's birthday party at Chuck E cheese's, and the list goes on and on. LOL Are you tired from just reading all that? This weekend I was hoping to take it easy, but there are so many things around the house to do plus I have homework and should be studying for my exams next week. I also need to list some eBay auctions and get a little "ME TIME" scrapbooking in somewhere ;)

Okay well I better get the kitchen straighten up and then I am going to take a much needed nap :)

OOPS lol ......... sorry BLOG

I totally spaced on my blog this past month, sorry about that! So much has been going on and March is gonna be another busy month for all of us. I have Work of course, School, test to take for school (two day all dayers lol), teo Doctor's appointments, two ultrasounds from the Doctor's office appointments, Austin's birthday party and camping with the whole family lol. LOTS of stuff going one. I am tired just thinking about it.

I changed the song on my blog (hee hee does that make you happy Melissa ;)) I put one of my all time favorite artists Norah Jones on. Dustin bought me her CD a few weeks ago and I have been hooked on it! It is soooooooooo GOOD! So if you like good music this is a CD you should pick up.

We found out we are having a GIRL. I had a 3D/4D ultrasound done last month after my regular (now past doctor, I switched hospitals) still could not tell what we were having because the baby was hiding her parts lol by crossing her legs. The 3D/4D ultrasound was amazing! I got a wonderful DVD of the whole thing and even got some pictures of it, One in which shows her parts lol. WE are so excited about having a girl to add to our family (although I would have been just as excited with another boy). We have had a girls name picked out since before Aidan was born so now we finally get to use it :) Her name is Adriana Isabelle (Adriana is a name I have had picked out for soooooo long, heck back when I was PG with Aidan in 2002 posted that that was the girl name I wanted) and Isabelle is one Dustin and I talked about when that old TV show Roswell was on, I loved the name from that show and now the same actress whole played Isabelle plays an Isabelle "Izzie" on my FAVORITE show "Grey's Anatomy". I also have an aunt in Ireland named Isabelle, so it is a name in the family.

I have started getting her room ready for her, since time is flying and she will be here before we know it. She is staying in our retreat room off of our bedroom (my old office) and I have moved my office to the old playroom/guest room. When she is bigger this office will then become her room. We have been picking out paint colors at Home depot, I plan on making the design myself, I have started sketching the paint designs in a notebook and we will be getting the paint withen the next week or so. I can't wait, It is going to be Mono Pink colors ( like pressed flower, strawberry freeze, exotic bloom and sugar plum) there will be circle designs that I hand make, I can't wait to get started! All furniture will be white, so it will really stand out with the painted walls.

Dustin is having such a great time with this too! Everytime we are out shopping he wants to get girlie clothes, it is so sweet to watch him. I have gone a little nuts with the girlie scrapbookproducts lol, and I am so excited because I have started working on her book already, I am making it of course a baby album BUT also filling it with BOM pages about the pregnancy, there is a cravings page of what I love eating while pregnant, a page on my FAVORITE maternity clothes ( LOVE Paris blue and american star maternity jeans), things like that. Maybe when she starts her own family (WAY down the road lol) this book/album will be helpful for her.

I have a few layouts to share here to, I just need to resize them all :)

Okay I better get back to my LRS DT work for March. I will try to post more often I promise, even if it is short and sweet lol :)

TTYL,

Nikki

When life hands you lemons......squeeze them!

It's been a pretty rough week and a half, If I were not in such a good mood, I am sure I would have broken down by now. To say we have problems is an understatement. It all started last Tuesday, Jan 16th. I got up early, made my daily todo list at LM, chatted with some friends on AIM while I got ready for work. I was so excited to finally be running early and getting out of the house early. I was on my way to drop my youngest son off at his great grandmas for a couple hours when the Accident happened. I had switched lanes a couple times, the street I was on was a 35, most people were going 20. One lady pulled in front of me and sped up to about 40. So I stayed behind her, I was not in a hurry nor was I speeding, just wanted to go with the right flow of traffic. Well very close to the main intersection where I would go straight through then turn on GG's street my life flashed before my eyes. What I am sure was only second felt like hours to me! Everything stopped, the music playing on the radio, the sounds around me, it was like my car and everyting on this planet was caught in one of those slow-mo Matrix movie scene. In one split second I knew what my fate was..... I saw the lady who was in front of me, STOP dead in the middle of the intersection (the ones that say do not block right before the main intersection, we will call it the "mini me" of intersections". then I saw what was infront of her but to the left, an ambulance with flashing lights, NO sirens, I saw the men in the Ambulance look at me, I saw what was on their face, I saw their heads shake in a "oh gosh it's to late look", I braced myself, I slightly turned to grab ahold of my son's foot, for his comfort and mine for what was to come, within seconds, The whole two second all this happened my foot was on the breaks, but it was no good, and I knew it the second the woman, two car spaces ahead of me STOPPED point blank in the middle of that intersection, I hit her, from behind, no way to avoid it, it was gonna happen, and it did. after the hit, all at once the sounds, the radio, my son's crying, the throbbing of my knee, the panic setting in, the sheer shock of WHY and HOW all came at me at once, like a split second migrain coming on. After that everything moved so fast, I saw the smoke from my hood, I had no idea what my car looked like on the outside, inside, everything looks okay, other then all the CD's and papers that flew out of the glove box, I got out spoke to the lady a bit, she did not speak english well. Soon the police were there. They were very nice to the both of us. I call my work, I called my husband who was on lunch break so I did not get to speak to him and I called my son's great grandma who came to get him. It was rough and crazy! Finally they cleaned up the mess my car made in the middle of the street (small pieces of the front everywhere.) they called a tow truck because the police officer said it was not drive-able. My DH's grandparents stayed there in their car waiting for me, to se eif I needed a ride. When we could leave I had them take me to urgent care where i had my knee checked out. The Dr. said it was hit hard but nothing to bad. I wanted them to then check the baby, i was feeling a bit sore now and crampy, they said they did not have anything there for that (an US machine) so I called my nurse P. and made an app. for that day. I went in and the baby was fine, moving around all over the screen :) I was told by both doctors that I should be on bedrest for the next two days. So I did, and man did i feel the pain the next day after the accident. My Husband went into work for me. Anyways. We now have my car here at home but it is not drive-able, DH is in the process of fixing it himself, for the mean time I am driving the Explorer SUV.

Anyways I better get to bed now, I am so tired. Here are some pictures of my poor car....

Bloated Cow that is me

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Well I have now reached the point where I can no longer button my regular jeans, so it is time to switch to maternity pants again. I am hoping to go shopping this weekend for a nice sale LOL on maternity pants (who am I kidding those things are mighty pricey) I also did the toilet paper tuesdays at lifetimemoments in the expecting mom's forum and I measure in at 8 1/2 squares lol, yep I am getting a tummy now. Well I am getting close to the 5th month mark, so it is expected, lets just hope my butt does not decide to follow along with my belly and "grow", lord knows I need no more "growing" on this already "grown" butt of mine. Since losing the close to 60 pounds in the last year and a half I no longer fit in to my HUGE maternity clothes I wore while PG with Aidan, but I am still big and need something right now. Anyways here is another picture I got from my Babycenter newsletter for this week, I am now closer to 19 weeks, but well, here lol this is my baby now...

I can not WAIT to find out what it is in another couple weeks, I swear it is another boy but everyone else says Girl, we shall see :)

well I better get off here, it is only 9:00pm and I feel so sorry for the insomniac in me, but tonight I think I may go to bed early (LOL I know Kristie what a shock huh :) lol, such a bad fellow insomniac), I have been up since 5:30am and it's been a love day, mostly of cleaning house, playing taxi driver to everyone most of the day (gotta love Weds lol) and spending half the night searching for my son's birth certificate, bad mommy! I usually have all that stuff together, but when A started school this year I guess I left it with the school stuff lol, because HOURS into searching I found it in a school folder lol. Anyways, My brain is fried tonight so I need to go rest it lol. TTYL

My day in a nut shell, yep the boring stuff....

I was up early this morning, watched a little news, did a load of laundry and then got Austin ready for school, took him and then came back to get ready for work. Today went by pretty fast. I have been home for a couple hours now and SHOULD be doing homework for school tomorrow, but instead I am stuck here LOL, online of course. After I finish blogging I will get to it.

My mother came home today from her long trip/vacation to Ireland. Well, my dad should be at the airport picking her up as I type this. I thought about calling her when I thought she would be home and rested in, but I think I will actually wait until tomorrow. Normally when she gets home from these vacations, she is really tired from getting up early, the LONG plane ride home and the emotions of leaving her family behind. I am sure she will be fine with me calling tomorrow. I spoke to my dad this morning about visiting some time this week, my grandparents will be at their house for most of the week, My grandpa goes in for surgery. I am sure everyone would like to visit and see the boys.

So last night while I should have been in bed resting for my job today LOL, I decided to read instead, I read the whole " A child is born" it was good, I certainly learned alot more about how a baby is made LOL, this coming from a mother of almost three. It was good.

I think this coming week is gonna be a busy one lol, I have a FEW layouts I need to submit to ST and their current call, then my LRS DT KIT should be here soon so I will have that to work on, plus ebay stuff, I LOVE it :)

LOL okay I know this post was a bit boring but hey, my mind is on the homework I should be working on right now lol, so I better get to that. TTYS

Not enough hours in a day

Do you ever feel this way? I have had so many things I want to get done, I start them to only leave them half done. I Fell like there is just not enough time. I woke up early this morning and had a set plan on what I wanted and needed to get done today, a few days ago I came in here, my office/ scraproom, I took on the task of "TRYING" to find some important papers, now here's the little thing and secret about me, on the outside My room looks organized, but if you look deeper lol (actually look in my drawers, filing cabinet, under stuff LOL) you will find that it is a HUGE mess! I mean papers, bills, everything just stuffed inside, very UNorganized lol.

So I woke up with this plan, to go through everything and throw away stuff I did not need and organize the stuff I do need so I actually KNOW where things are and it is not a 5 hour search party everytime I come in here to look for one thing. I Worked on this for about an hour, then of course got pulled away by the sounds of Miss "New York" on VH1's new reality show. Yep Dustin was in our room (my office is a retreat room off of our bedroom so I can hear and see into our room) watching this and of course being the reality whore that I am I stopped organizing to go watch, and got sucked into it. Then of course when that was over I started the whole channel flipping thing, found that court tv has an all day showing of LA Forensics, so I have one hour before that starts LOL, so here I am again, came in here to work, Put Christina Aguilera's "Back to Basics (Disc 2) in the CD player, am I working? Nope, I decided to get online again LOL, Lord knows how the computer sucks you in too, it started out with a little blog reading, then message board visiting, and now blog writing, I SHOULD be 6 feet away digging in my mess of a filing cabinet Organizing away, but here I sit. The day is half gone and I have nothing to show for it. I had major plans for today to. Organizing this messy room, then I was going to work on some things for Ebay FINALLY. I would love to have a few auctions up right now, I truly miss it!

So here's the thing.... Should I just drag my mess of papers out into my bedroom and plant my butt in front of the TV so I can kill two birds with one stone and watch LA forensics and clean my mess LOL, or should I just stay away from the TV altogether and get my mess cleaned up in a steady time, cause come on now, you know as well as I, that if I plant my butt in front of the TV and try and organize my mess at the same time that I will not finish until midnight LOL. But darn it, it sounds so good LOL. I guess I will figure it out LOL

I have an addiction! Every weekend now when my MIL takes my boys for the day, I hop into my car and head to a place, a place where my imagination runs wild, where I can get a nice dose of Hot chocolate, where I can learn about pregnancy, cooking, romance, murder, what's hot and what's not, where I can fight with someone over a chair or find myself sitting on an floor sandwiched between shelves, Yep people, BARNES AND NOBLES. I can not stop going here, and can I just say, I have read three books in two weeks, MAN I have truly missed reading, but baby it's back and I am doing it ;) Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies, I was an 11 year old girl who had a number of Stephen King books under her belt, I look back at my summers as a kid and remember spending alot of it reading (well I did do lots of other things to lol, like shopping, mall, slumber parties, great america trips, etc) but this was my favorite thing to do, I would lay in my backyard and read read read, when season changed I would ride my bike over to our local rose garden and read under the huge redwood trees, or on the grass next to the fountain, reading was my thing and in this life time I have done ALOT of it, sheezzz I have BOXes of books here that if I have an extra room I could make my own Barnes and Nobles with lol. I thank both my parents for my love of reading, My dad started us out young, I will never forget his reading sessions with us, I remember him reading the Hobbit to us as young girls (my sister and I) My mother is amazing with books, that woman can read a whole book in a day, sometimes two. Anywho, I am proud and rather fond of my new addiction, Barnes and Nobles you freakin ROCK! See you this coming Saturday ;) LOL

hmmmm nothing else major going on, I went to my Dr.s appointment last Tuesday and she could not tell us the sex of the baby yet, SO strange because I was 17 weeks pregnant with both my boys and right away they knew, so I have 3 weeks to go until we REALLY find out lol. I can't wait. I can feel it moving so much, it's very exciting. I love being pregnant! I love having kids, it's an amazing gift! I have had so many goals and dreams in life for myself, I have wanted to be so many different things, I think being a MOM, by far has to be the best thing I have ever done with my life, I LOVE it, i am good at it.

Okay well, I better get back to my organizing lol. TTYS

Merry Christmas

WOW! It has been a busy couple weeks, I was in bed for most of last week with a very bad cold and for those of you who have been or are pregnant know there is nothing you can really take, so for the first couple days I was dying LOL. I did find out I could take regular Robitussin, so that helped. You can only imagine what our home looked like while I was sick, I could hardly got out of bed so I had a TON of things to clean up around here yesterday. It was nuts. I have a few last minute gifts to wrap for the boys and D and I am so done. The only thing left to do is go to MIL's Christmas Eve party tonight (LOTS of family there) and come home to bake cookies with the boys for Santa. YUM!

I plan to start posting more here agin like I use to, this month has just been so nuts. I Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy Hoildays.

Saturday/Monday in a nutshell

I woke up early today and cleaned the kitchen, then got ready for work. Work went by pretty quickly. I got home picked up D and Aidan and we all ran a bunch of errands, picked up stuff at Carols for work the rest of the week, then headed to safeway for grocerys, we got 3 nights of food for $23 that was pretty good :) Then we picked up Austin from school. Since being home I have made a few lists of things I will need to do this coming weekend, Grocery shopping for the next two weeks, FINALLY getting our tree lol, Christmas shopping (just a couple things for each boy) bills, Friday I am having lunch with my Best Friend, and Saturday I am having lunch with my dad, and some where I plan on spending some time at Barnes and Nobles. I LOVE it there!

This last Saturday while MIL took the boys I went to Barnes and Nobles and spent 4 1/2 hours there lol. I grabbed a few SB magazines and a couple books and sat down on the floor down the Stephen King/Dean Koontz section (my favorite) I thumbed through a book called "Happy Housewives" by Darla Shine, It was so funny and I am adding that to my wishlist LOL. I also read a whole book called "Cold cases" (Lisa you would love this book, just like the shows on court tv and A&E, ALOT of cases I have never seen before). I could not put this book down so I read the whole thing. I did do a lap around the store to see if any of the lounge chairs were vaccant BUT they were all taken (my butt started hurting after about three hours sitting on the floor with my back against a bookshelf) one was even taken by a stack of magazines and when I tried to move them LOL, a girl from behind a bookcase said that was her spot "did you not see the magazines" UM okay yes but I had no idea Magazines could hold places DUH on my part "eyeroll" (I had grade school flashbacks of Becky saving lindas chair with her hair tie). So I went back to my corner with Dean and Stephen, I like it better down there anyways, LOL would people think I was nuts if I brought one of those folding chairs in a bag (you know the kind lol, people bring them to ballparks or camping and popped a squat in my section with stephen and Dean? Maybe I will do that next time. Heck my excuse? I am pregnant people lay off me LOL ;)

Alright I have homework to do and a bit of a sweet tooth, I am going to go get a spoonful of rainbow frosting from the fridge and hit the books before bed. Nightie night

:( Just me

Do you ever just feel like you don't belong any where? This is me at this moment...

A little of this, A little of that....

Hmmmm where to start? It's been a long month since I last posted, so many things going on, good and bad. What should I start with first? Okay how about the good stuff?

I had another Ultrasound and got some new pictures. The baby is doing fine, VERY active on the screen. I found out that I am actually two days ahead of what I thought I was. We will find out what we are having on Jan 2 ( so 2 1/2 weeks), I totally think it's another boy. I just have that feeling you know. Looks like I made it through this pregnancy with no morning sickness, how great is that :)

I got an A in school on my first course and it's moving right along, I am very happy with it and as soon as this baby is born I will be headed to bigger and better things in life, I am excited! D also finished his first Course at school and hopefully will be getting a job soon with the electician stuff soon.

I have alot more free time coming up now, work is going good.

Okay now on to the not so good stuff. I have been so depressed the last few weeks. Everything gets me so down in the dumps! Money is one of the big things. Right now we are just getting by from our paychecks to paychecks. His are going straight to rent (one whole check each month) and the bills. Then there is my $150 I get from my job each week that pays for the gas in our cars and food for the week. It really is the pits but one good thing is we are pretty much doing this on our own now. We get paid soon and that will go towards the Christmas tree (Austin has been asking for it for two weeks now and we have to keep telling him that we are waiting for the 15th.) a couple small gifts for the boys and the rest goes into bills and our living needs for the next 3 weeks since I will not be working due to the school break. I think things will finally start looking up money wise after the new year, we shall see.

Myself and all the girl on the DT for the only Manuf. DT I was on were let go last week in an email. The company just did not make it in the Scrapbook industry, so it shut down :( ? I am so sad! I am now only on one DT for THEE best DT I have ever been on LRS. It has been the best experience I have had yet with DT's and I am happy to have it. Just bummed about the MD dt but what can I do? I am looking around to see if there is something else out there for me to be apart of, I am giving up on the chances of being on anymore Manuf. DT's so far the ones I have been on or been asked to try out for have all either closed or just stopped talking to the memebers. I am thinking I want to be apart of an online store/Community. I have been in the past and enjoyed it. Just need to look around I guess.

I have been let down by a few people the last couple weeks and it's been depressing. I know the hormones have gotten me all wacky lately but there are certain things you do not do to your friends! The only thing I can think to do, to stop being hurt is to just let them go! It's not worth it to me anymore.

Alright well I need to go clean up the kitchen and the dinner mess. TTYS
