Quick little blog post :) pictures....

I am busy busy busy lol, Working on some Scrapfest points for LM, cleaning the house, reading my big brother 8 updates at bigbrotherupdates.com (lol been going there for a few years now, love them for the live feed updates, since I decided to get showtime BBafterdark instead of the live feeds this year, I figured I would be in my room taking care of Adriana and BF that late so I had no time for sitting here watching / listening to them all day lol. LOTS of drama going on in the house the last couple days since they booted out the lovely NICK :( , everyone is turning on eachother, it's so funny and looks like America's player Eric will be out soon.

I am so loving all the new CHA stuff coming in at lifetimemoments.com right now, I picked up a few sheets of the new American Crafts, Scenic Route, Dream street and a couple chipboard items this last week. I also added a few new things to my wishlist there, new stuff coming in each week :)

Okay well I need to go give my little baby girl a bath so I will end this short and with a couple pictures :)

Super annoyed and another things...

Okay there are a few things that have got me so flippin annoyed right now, I am trying to keep calm so I will keep this post "clean" and not cuss like I really want to (I'll just think the cursing in my head!). Anyways, so the number one thing that has me pissed off right now, well we just got a community (we live in a kinda closed in community) notice from the "managers" of the community as well as everyone else who lives here (they got notices too). We had property inspections last week to see if everything was within the codes and rules of this community. This notice today was to tell us what we are in violation of.

See a few weeks ago Dustin and MIL built from the ground up an awesome, expensive (wood is not cheap and this was not cheap redwood) play fort for the boys in our backyard. It looks awesome! Well the weekend Dustin built it the new managers of this community were moving in so they watched/heard him working on it. Well the next weekend they came over and did a brief introduction on who they were and then layed it into Dustin about the play fort not being on our plot plan when we had our house built here, and that we needed a permit and a new plot plan. So Dustin did that. Okay now fast forward to this inspection notice.

It says "we noticed that the fort is being built with combustible material ( Expensive redwood from Home Depot) within 3 feet of another structure (our fence) This is in violation of title 25 and must be removed immediately! The boys are heartbroken, this was a gift from MIL for both of their birthdays (Aidan's is next weekend) which again is very expensive and it's also something Dustin put alot of work and time into. And now it HAS to be taken down! This stupid paper says (mind you we had our house built here last sept so it's almost been a year and within the first month we had our yard fenced (another project Dustin did), and it was inspected by the at the time manager that said it was perfect, and the managers after her said it was fine (we have gone through 3 now). Now these managers say we are in violation because on one side of our yard the fence has no gate, that if we have a fence on both sides we have to have two gates,WTH? AND THEN, it says we are in violation because we have a window AC, another WTH? We can not afford the $3000 central air right now, mainly because in the last few months we have put thousands of $$$ into getting the cars fixed! We need that window AC, for one, last year it reached 106+ somedays and elders and infants were dying from the heat of the summer. We have a newborn and NEED that AC to keep her cool during the day. What the heck community says it's not okay to have a Window AC in your own home? Oh and did I mention about 20+ houses in this community have them, some of which have been here for 10+ years, I think they will have alot of angry people to deal with on this one. This just so makes me want to move out of this stupid community, the really sucky part of living here is I guess you don't have control as much as you would living in a normal neighborhood, I mean come on, they want us to remove a window AC from our own home? AHHHHHH!

That has got me so irrated, but it's not the only thing, a few more things do to, I'm about to go into whiny mode so if you don't want to hear/read the whiny-ness then look away!

My whiny list-
  • I hate cleaning, sometimes I think why bother, the second I move on to the next thing to clean, the thing I just cleaned up is a mess again.
  • People who don't answer back emails right away when you are waiting on an answer. I tend to be bad at this myself sometimes lol but I now have 3 kiddos to take care of so computer time is lacking, and see #1 that pretty much takes up my free time lately, so I guess I am one to talk huh.
  • People who have nothing better to do then to be snooty!
  • People who were your friend, but dropped you for no reason at all, just stopped talking to you, emailing you and pming you, GROW UP! If someone did something wrong then flippin tell them, don't go all JR. High and pull the "I'm gonna ignore you until you guess, thing", it's BS!
  • wiping the toliet seat down EVERYTIME I have to go now, in my OWN bathroom, no this does not have anything to do with DH lol.
  • Finding my new box of Special K fruit and yogurt cereal on the kitchen floor opened and spilled out, who knew the ants were on a diet too?
  • Freakin ants, I hate them, and why is it they only come out to invade your home in the summer?
  • People who talk on their cell phones while driving! STUPID STUPID!

Okay my list can go on and on but I need to clean up the dinner dishes and BF Adriana. So glad I can vent lol! I do feel a bit better now! :)

Been super busy and I am very tired

WOW! It's been a long week and a half! I have been busy with the kiddos, on my own this last week (my parents have been helping out a few days a week since Adriana was born and that was so nice), lots of house cleaning, lots of DT work, inlaws visiting from Idaho, and a few odds and ends. I am so tired and look forward to sleeping in on Friday lol. We took Aidan and Adriana to the beach this past Saturday. It was alot of fun. Adriana's first beach experience, going to the beach is a family tradition with our kiddos. We have taken them all since babies. It was really foggy for most of the morning and afternoon, around 2:30pm the sun finally came out and we all got some sun on our cheeks and nose lol. We had the baby bundled up in her preemie jacket and pants. Lots of fun! Anyways here are some pictures from the beach, along with Adriana's 4-5 week pictures, I can not believe she will be a month and a half old this coming Friday, where does the time go?

Busy summer, Surgery (TMI), 2-3 weeks old

WHEW! It has been pretty busy here so far this summer. We have been doing alot of things like swimming, outings, park visits, time at the in laws, Dustin and MIL built a clubhouse/fort in the backyard for the boys (I will take some pictures and upload them soon for all to see.) All that is left to do to it is painting, adding the roof to the second floor and pouring in the sand for the two sandboxes. It is really neat and the boys just love it. Aidan has his hot wheels out there and Austin has been adding his Star wars action figures to it. my folks have been wonderful, they come over at least three times a week to help out with the boys while I take care of the house and Adriana.

Last Weds (June 27th) I went in for Surgery. This may be TMI for you to read so I am warning you now, if you don't wanna know then skip this part lol) When I gave birth to Adriana I got a small hemorrhoid from pushing so fast ,the Doctor and nurses said it was fine and gave me some tucks to take care of it, Well Tuesday June 26th I was having some (ahem lol) bathroom issues, they got so bad that I made the Hemorrhoid worse, so worse that I could not sleep at all that night, let alone sit or lay, i was in so much pain. So I called my Doctor who was out of town (great!) then I tried to get in to see one of her partners, all booked up, finally the Urgent care center could see me. I got there and had to wait close to an hour in pain before I was seen (I even went out to the hot car to try and lay on my side to ease some of the pain but it did not work and Dustin said i was walking so funny lol). I went into my room and was told to put the tiny paper blanket thing on (you know the one that if you move the wrong way will rip up the front and show all your lovely-ness). The Doctor came in and told me to turn to my left side and lay down. Then I heard her same WOW! That is really huge we are going to have to do surgery. Great I think, just as long as the pain goes away after. Anything was better than this pain. She tells me how this is going to work, she is going to give me a shot in the area to numb it so she can cut out the clots. I tense up a bit, first of all I am NOT a shot or needle person ( who is right?) I am really bad, sometimes there is shaking, fast talking involved and I have even cried before, I HATE needles and shots. She leaves me for a couple minutes to get a nurse to assist and to get the supplies. In this short amount of time I am praying she takes awhile to get back so I can convince myself this is going to be for the greater good of being able to sit on my arse in peace without screaming or crying and of course the pain will soon be gone. I lay there and soon hear the doctors shoes coming down the hallway. This is it, showtime. The nurse and Doctor come in. The Doctor tells the nurse she will have the oh so lovely job of holding my left cheek up while she does the surgery (OH JOY). I turn to my side, that lovely nurse grabs ahold of my left cheek and holds on, and I hear the Doctor go through the, this will feel cold, it's just a cleaning wipe to clean the area, now here comes the shots (um what? SHOTS? she said SHOT! earlier, not shots.) I brace myself and feel the tears building up. Now before I go on, I would just like to say that With the pain that I am about to feel (the pain I now know and will never get out of my mind) I would so have rather of gone through labor and birth 5 more times then experience this pain again, Labor and birth is a cakewalk compared to this pain! The first needle tip goes in, right into the flaming, painful Hemorrhoid, I screamed, jumped, wanted to curse so bad but all that came out was OUCH OUCH OUCH oh God! OUCH and there was even an Ouchie thrown in there a few times. My right hand hit/punched the wall in front of me, I then braced the wall with my hand as if it would help with the pain if I pushed on it as hard as I could. She poked me in a few different spots in the Hemorrhoid with the numbing needle, and I did the same thing each time as I did above. Finally it was numb enough for her to start cutting opened each pouch (as she called it) in the hemorrhoid to cut out the clots. The whole time she worked on it she would make comments about the size of it, she said it was the size of my thumb (shocked!) and that if the nurses whole saw it at the hospital when I had Adriana would have examined it further they would have seen how big it really was and could have taken care of it there while I was still numb from the EPI. I was so mad to hear this! I could have avoided the worst pain in my life had they looked better! While she was cutting clot after clot out I started to feel presser and a little pain, so what did she do??? She went and got a new bottle of the numbing meds and filled up another needle chalk full of the painful stuff. I had to go through that pain another time before this would be done! All in all I had 12 shots in the area, each one I felt and I had 17 cuts and clots taken out of that damn Hemorrhoid. I wanted to die!!! I was in pure heaven when she was done thanks to that evil numbing needle, I felt zero pain and was doing great. Jumped right off the bed, put my clothes on and headed out to the waiting room where Dustin and Adriana were. Before I left the Doctor told me that my pain meds would be ready for pick up at costco in an hour. I thought great, we can go eat some lunch and run a few errands before picking up the boys from my parents house. We did the lunch, I called in to costco to see if my meds were ready and found out that they were closed for another hour due to lunch, great we could go get Adriana's birth Cert. (one of our errands) and pick up the boys and swing by costco to get the meds afterwords. We get across town to the BC place pull up to a parking spot and Istart to feel a little bit of pain, the numbing meds from the evil needle are starting to wear off, great, it can't be that bad right? Dustin goes in, I stay outside with the baby in the explorer. Within 5 minutes I am in lots of pain, I try to shift my weight off the area, not helping, I then try and open my door to stand, the problem is we had to squeeze into the parking spot because the people next to us both parked wrong leaving us with little room. I was able to squeeze my legs out but would have to really try to get the rest of my body through the small opening, I said forget it and just climbed over the back seat and layed down in the back area (were the groceries go lol) I layed there a few minutes but the pain got worst. I then curse myself for ever leaving the house and not thinking about how the evil numbing meds would wear off before I got to costco for the pain meds, I curse the Doctor for not giving me any kind meds before i left the hospital, The pain gets to bad wear I now think I just need to go inside, get Dustin and have him drive me home so I can sit in a hot bath then have him run and get the meds. I climb back into the middle seat and this time open the door on the other side were there is more room for me to get out, I stand there for a second, it feels like my whole behind area is going to rip off my body, like it is cut up (which it was, 17 times) and is ripping off) NEVER felt pain this bad before, and that is the best I could describe it. I got Adriana out and started around the corner of the building, I saw Dustin YAY I thought, but then he says, that he just came out to tell me it would be 10 more minutes. I started to cry, I feel craziness kicking in now from all the pain, I tell him no, that we can't wait any longer that he has to take me home now, he says he will take the baby and go in to see if they can move it along, I start crying louder but agree, he says if not it will only be 10 minutes. I slowly get back to the car and get in, I am shaking hard and in so much pain, plus crying rather loud now, I sit and wait, in pain, it gets worse, I start to hit the side of the door to get the pain going somewhere else, I slowly feel my sanity leaving me, I wonder if there is any other pain in the world that can be worse? A stab wound? A gun shot? I then think nope this has to be worse lol, I have seen the ER shows on TLC and Discovery, you go into shock and the pain goes away, I silently wish I would go into shock, then at least I will feel less pain, I start crying loud again and praying loud, people are passing by, I wonder for a second if they think "WOW look at that nutcase, she most be on something (I wish!), or that I was crazy, from that time the numbing meds went off until I got my pain meds two hours later (I will explain this too!) I did go crazy! I look back now and WOW! Just WOW! Finally, 20+ minutes later I see my husband turn the corner of the building and I cry more, Thank you God! So he gets in and we head off for another 20+ minute drive back home. It was a living HELL! I cried and hit the door the whole way home. Once we pulled up to the house, the pain was beyond worse, I tried so hard to get out of the car, which took about 7-8 minutes to step out of, I could hardly walk or stand on my legs the pain was so bad, then I had to walk UP the four steps of the back porch to get into the house, steps were not fun! I ran a sitz bath and got in, the pain was still VERY bad but got a tiny bit better in the water. My husband then got Adriana ready again after we feed her and went to costco which is only 10 minutes away. 20 minutes went by and I am still in a ton of pain, this is now like 2 1/2 hours after I left the hospital, I call him on his cell phone, He is waiting in line. I hang up, he should be done soon. I sit there in silence and in pain. 10 minutes goes by and I decided that I need help, someone to talk to to help keep my mind off the pain, I call my parents house. My Dad answers, I can tell he is a bit upset that I could even think about being super woman and try to RUN errands when I just had surgery and should have stayed home resting. I am upset with myself to. I tell him I just need someone to talk to me for a while that it might help take my mind off the pain, my dad is wonderful! This man spoke to me for 17 minutes and it did help some. I got off the phone and call Dustin back wondering if he is on the way, when he answers I don't even say hi, I say "please tell me you are on the road and on your way home right now" I hear the baby crying in the back ground, he then tells me that the order is not ready (shocked!) and it will be another 20-30 minutes, (I am praying to die now, please put me out of my misery!), that he needs to drive the baby home so I can BF her. I hang up and cry again, I think to myself, you have to be joking right? Is my luck really this horrible today? I find myself laughing now, what luck? He gets home, and leaves again, he gets back there and another 20 minutes go by, I call again (I bet he wished he did not have a cellphone this day lol) He says it will be about 15 more minutes and he will be right home. I run another HOT bath and just sit there. Waiting. 30 minutes later he is home and I am out of the bath. I take my first pain meds and wait for them to kick in. They gave me a Codine/Norco med. It somewhat took the pain away. I could still feel the pain and pressure but I could sleep now, and BOY did these meds help me sleep! Because I was taking this kinda drug for the pain, I had to limit how many times I could breastfeed, so I was BF and giving Adriana formula, I did not want the sleeping effects to happen to her (which the doctor said it would) so the first few days I had to take the meds every 4 hours, I formula fed and just pumped my breast and tossed the milk. After about 4 days on the meds every 4 hours I started taking them every 6-8 hours so then I could breastfeed her and formula feed. I was also ordered on bed rest for the whole week, which I hated! I was so Bord, caught up on a bunch of my shows on TLC, read some books and spent so much time with the baby, that part was wonderful. Dustin stayed home a few days and my parents helped out. I to this day, 11 days later still feel pain but it is getting better now. I NEVER EVER EVER would wish this on anyone! I hope I never have to go through this again, I am hoping it was my first and last time lol. So that is how the last 11 days were spent.

In better news my baby girl turned One month old yesterday. I cannot believe it! She is already 4 weeks old, where does the time go. I LOVE this baby so much! She is such a good girl, she hardly ever cries, she loves to be held, We fall asleep together all the time lol, she loves to rest her head on my shoulder and her body on my tummy. She smiles all the time when you talk to her. She is very alert. When she sleeps during naps I find myself missing her. The boys love her so much and are so good with her, Austin loves to hold her and Aidan loves giving her kisses. She has been such a wonderful addition to our family, she completes us :) Oh and she is so Daddy's little girl :)

I will post her one month (4 week)pictures tomorrow but for now here is one two week picture and a couple 3 week pictures, plus the boys and a couple layouts I did.

Okay time to go BF, TTYS :)

She is here....

Sorry I did not post sooner but what with having a new baby and the boys home for summer (no school) it gets a bit tough to post, I have a little more time now that things are starting to feel normal again. I did post this on a couple message boards after having Adriana so I thought I would post it here to as an update for family and friends. We are all doing good, she is just the best baby ever! We all love her so much :) I took her one week pictures last Friday which I will either upload tonight or tomorrow (if it is tomorrow then I will upload her two week old pictures I will be taking tomorrow. I can't believe she is already almost two weeks, we actually went to her two week check up a day early (today) and she is doing great, at her one week check up she weighed 5lbs 8-9 oz, and todays check up she weighed 6lbs 3 oz so she is now gaining :). She is doing so good with the breastfeeding to. Just a sweet little baby :) Okay here is the Birth post and birth pictures...

We went in on Friday (6-8-07) to have Adriana (the original due date lol), when I got there I was dilated 4 1/2 cm (I was in labor at home for HOURS!). they hooked me up to the IV right away to start me on the meds for the GBS. They said that they would not break my water until I had two rounds of the meds. we got there around 2:40pm and they said we probably would not start trying for baby until 7:30pm so it was a waiting game. The contractions were not to bad but I decided to get an epi anyways because I knew it would be a long wait and that I should try and rest a little. I got the epi around 4pm. They could not track the contractions well on the machine, I only felt them in my lower back and lower ab's. Around 6:50pm I started feeling a bit of pressure in my behind area LOL, and from my first two PG's I knew this to be a sign of me being 10 cm dilated. I sat there a while waiting for the nurse to return, around 7:20 I felt a trickle of water and called out to the nurse again (they were busy ) I told her either my water just broke (which I never had happen before on it's own, or the catheter came out. So she decided to check me and sure enough I was 10 cm. She called in my Dr (who was on the floor) to come in that it was time to have the baby. They set things up and at about 7:35-7:40pm I started to push. I did not push very long, Adriana was born at 7:50pm. I could not believe how fast it was! With my two other births I remember the "feeling" of the crowning, the pressure. With Adriana I could hardly feel a thing and the epi was pretty much worn off, I understood after I saw her why I hardly felt her lol, she is sooooooo TINY!

She weighed 5lbs 13oz (I am use to big babies lol Austin was 7.5 and Aidan was 8lbs). She was born purple because the UC was wrapped around her neck 4 times, but bounced back right away. Dustin said when her head was out all he saw was hair lol, she was turned around so her face was facing down. I can not tell you all how excited, happy and thrilled we all are over this little girl We had to stay at the hospital until late last night, Saturday night Adriana went in to the nursery for the regular newborn tests and they found that she was at a high risk jaundice level for newborns. So all day Sunday she spent most of the time under the bili rays and on top of a bili blanket. I was so sad because I did not get to see her very much, they would bring her into our room for 30 minute feedings every 3 hours. We were so happy to bring her home late last night. We took her in to her PED today for another blood test, we are waiting to hear the results

Here are the pictures...

Oh yeah! So ready!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I am soooooooo ready :) well ready in the sense that I would love to hold our baby and of course have my body back lol. I am getting way to excited and time is coming to an end for this wonderful journey. I however AM NOT ready in the sense that I still have not packed our hospital bags and today well I took most of it off to be a bit lazy, the boys managed to get the house that I spent this weekend cleaning a bit...well.....messy lol. Thoughts now go through my head as I type this blog post about waking up in the middle of the night (which is so bound to happen since I wake up ever half hour these nights) in labor (a THIS IS IT!!! If you will) and the house be the way it is (not that it is so bad lol) and no bags packed. We will have company all week after she is born and if I am woken up in the middle of the night in labor with nothing done then the company that will be here, will wonder what the heck I was doing all weekend LOL. I am totally serious!

Have you ever started something and had good intentions on finishing it but got into other things and just sort of left it there half done? Well, if you were to walk through our front door and walk in to our sitting room, there would be no where to sit. WHY? Well yesterday I deep cleaned my office/scraproom and moved out all the sorted boys baby/toddler clothes I had set aside to take pictures of for the LM clothes trading group and for eBay. Well I sort of just piled them all on to the couches in the sitting room, with perfect intentions on cleaning them up yesterday. Then of course I got to tired, and well today was said lazy day so, it did not happen. Clothes are still all over the sitting room for all to see. I have a good mind to just gather them all up and shove them in my office closet until after the baby is born and I have a little more enegy and time to deal with it (I will probably end up doing this LOL, eyeroll). I really wanted to get this done, but I just have no time and if I were to go into labor right now, it would be horrible to have all that out there for the company to see, let alone them not have a place to sit (besides the living room) lol.

For some strange reason, you can call it nesting if you like :) I HAVE to have this house clean before she gets here! When she comes and we go home from the hospital I want to walk into a clean house, where I don't have to worry or do anything, I can just relax and adjust to our new life.

With all this being said, even though my body and my mind say go to bed, I can't I must clean up this mess, you never know when labor will start ;)

Tomorrows post (If I am around) is going to be about what an amazing son I have in school! He brought home his yearly journal today and it just made me cry, so I wanted to share some of the pages :) He is just so darn smart!
