Here are those VW show pictures I have been promising

These are a few photos from a few of the shows we went to in April and May. I also included some of the Japanese Friendship garden pictures I took the day we went to the Kelly Park VW show. The sun was shining bright so there are alot of pictures that have sun spots on Dustin and Adriana Isabella's face. We had a great time at these shows, lots of awesome looking cars. To me the shows are like looking at art with all the colors and detail people put into their cars. We will be camping at the Sacramento Bugarama (61) on the 25th. That sound be fun, the whole family is going and taking MIL's tent trailer. I will post pictures and a little about it after we go. These pictures here are from the Kelly Park show and the Madera and north cal busfest.

LOL I was up with the kids at 6:30am got all of them in the car, dropped Austin off at school, took Aidan to McDonalds for breakfast so we could sit and eat breakfast at 8:30am and wait for Borders to open at 9:00am. I was first at the door with Aidan and Adriana Isabella, there was a long line lol. They had the Stephenie Meyer display right out in front of the doors you walk into the store. They had a huge Breaking Dawn sign about pre-orders, the Midnight party they are having in AUG, all Stephenie's twilight series books and of course the one I went for.... THE HOST. I was first in line and had my book in my hot little hands at 9:04am :) Now I plan to take the day off and read, lets see if the kids will let me lol.....

Scrapbooked for me :)

Yep that's right!... See....

I started this layout a couple days ago and set it aside because all I had was the journaling to finish. While I was chatting with the girls on the live ustream this morning for Scrapclubs.com, I decided to finish it then, it was so cool, like a live crop. Terri was even scrapbooking. If you have not seen the live scrapclub show yet, you should check it out, Terri goes through different kit clubs and shows you what comes in it. Today she did the new LRS kit. I will be working on my April LRS DT kit stuff tomorrow night and this coming week. I just got some pictures printed for the layouts :)

The layout above I used the new April Scarlet Lime main kit. It was sort of a little challenge to myself to finally use one of the Scarlet Lime kits I have been hoarding lol. They are just so pretty, I love to just look at them lol. This kit was amazing, it came with so much stuff inside, Cardstock, patterned paper (a mix of different lines, that go well together), a few different ribbons, rubons, chipboard accents, labels, a stamp, A package of thickers, another package of alphas- Adornits, fabric, chipboard diecuts and a mini bag full of different embellishments like, flowers, fabric flowers, buttons, tags. It had all the right stuff to make this layout above plus SO MUCH MORE for more layouts and some cards. Almost everything on the layout is from the April main kit, the red thickers and the green crystals are the only things not in this kit but they did come from two other Scarlet Lime kits, so it's 100% SL :)

Now my goal is to use all my other Scarlet Lime kits lol. Okay well I need to get some chores done tonight before bed. We have a busy weekend :)

My CX March Assignments

For March we had a free month, the only thing we had to include was the Cricut or Cuttlebug dies. I love using Basic Grey so I used some older stuff and some newer stuff. Check out the CX academy for more details on these two layouts :)

Working on the blog....

AH! LOL, I am just posting a quick up date. I have been working on the blog the last two days lol, I found a cool blog template site and was helping my friend Anna ( ;) ) find a template for her blog and started playing lol, before I knew it, I was 6+ hours into it LOL. I am almost done ;) Then I will post my layouts.

43 weeks old, and some randomness...

I decided to get alot of my housework done last night before bed so I could have a "free-ish" day. If you call having a sick child home from school a free day lol, for the most part I got to read some, did a little laundry and I edited a few pictures. Getting ready for my DT assignments from LRS for April, the kit should be here within the next week or so, now that our spending budget for anything extra is pretty much gone since Dustin quit his second job, I can't afford to get the add-on's that go with the LRS kit so I will just be working with the main kit, it's been a LONG time since I have worked with just the main kit, no addons, I can't wait to get started. On the kit note, I did get two layouts picked up for ST using two months of kits from LRS, I was excited about that :) They will be in back to back issues (July and Aug).

So now that Austin is in Little League, it gives me a chance to get in more of a workout during the day. While he is practicing or playing a game I walk with Adriana Isabella around the park. Friday I walked for...

lol yep I had my camera with me that day lol, I was taking pictures of Adri at the park and took a picture of Dustin's watch I keep with me while I walk, I use the stop watch feature, it comes in handy. I love that if I have to stop I can click it off and when I start up again I click it to start right where it left off.

Here are some pictures of Adriana, that I took at the park that day. She is now 43 weeks old. I just can not believe that! My baby will be ONE soon (shock!). She is doing great! Still a bit anemic but is taking her iron/vit meds and will go back for another blood test at the end of the month. She is eating real rice,real banana's and the baby food jar kind ALOT! It's her favorite. She waves hi to everyone and will way bye bye too (she even says it). She claps her hands together and says yaaaaay. She says so many words now, Dada, Mama, star, nana (banana), naw naw naw (which means no, and she only says it if we put her in her chair and she does not want to be in it.), hi, bye bye, ah-oh, and a few more. She is so smart! She is starting to put shapes in the right spots, she loves music so much and dances to it. She is almost walking now, she will stand up without holding on to anything and try for the first step but falls. I think she will have it down in a couple weeks. Her hair is growing so fast. I have to cut her bangs every couple weeks (as you will see in these pictures she was in need of a trim across the front of her eyes lol, which I did today, she can now see without hair being in the way lol).

Okay well I have a couple emails to send off and one more load of laundry to fold so I should be going. I will post my LRS and CX assignments from March tomorrow :)

Happy Birthday my first born!

It was Austin's 7th birthday on the 27th. We did a little party here at home for him, but his real party was saved for today (Sunday the 30th). He got some awesome gifts from his Grandpa Mike and Grandma Robin at his game yesterday (Mom you will have to send me some of the pictures you took of austin with you and his birthday bag next to the car). He got a Wii, a star wars action figure and some awesome shirts and swim trunks from them.

Today we went over to Grandma Karen's house and had a nice party there. There was yummy food and this nice spongebob icecream cake. Even his great grandparents (Jim and Fran) where there. It was very nice. He got some neat things there, some Starwars lego ships, a wii game for his wii he has at Grandma Karen's house (for when he goes over there on the weekends) and a couple other things I can't think of right now lol.

I visited with Kate for a while (Dustin's sister (almost 16) and she lent me some new vampire (YA) books (Vampire kisses) and the Nora Roberts Vampire (circle) trilogy; and I got my New Moon book back from her. She had spring break last week so she got to read the whole book and now is starting on Eclipse. I told her she needs to read the Cassandra Clare series, City of Bones and City of Ashes, I just finished them and loved them so much! They remind me of the Twilight series.

Okay well I better get off of here and get to bed. I am very tired from the day! TTYS
