I am a baking fool...

And I told myself I was DONE with cupcakes last summer when I did the Baseball cupcakes for Austin's baseball team

with the handmade chocolate candies I made for them and of course the 8 hour butterfly cupcakes I made for Bella's third birthday lol.

I decided to make some Oreo cookie cupcakes to help our little league snack shack this weekend. They were super easy to make, all I did was look online for a simple recipe and I ended up using two together to make mine. They were a hit at the snack shack, and we did get to bring a couple back home with us, which made the kids super happy lol.

I also signed up to make some more cupcakes (I am asking for it lol) for the boys school walkathon in a couple weeks. Not sure what kind I am going to make yet, maybe chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes? If you have any suggestions or links, please leave a comment :)

Yummy goodies from Creative Xpress!!!

I got my yummy DT goodies from Creative Xpress  (we just got in some new Basic Grey) and made some AWESOME goodies with tutorials for the CX blog. I wish I could share them with you, or at least some previews, but I can't until they are posted on the blog...so I leave you with the goodies I used to create them :) I got to work with the awesome "Birthday Bash" Cricut cart. Can't wait to show you the real projects.

Baseball season yet again...

Our family always looks forward to this time of year, this will be our 5th year with our Little League baseball league. We all get involved each year! Dustin has been a coach or manager for the last 5 years, I have been team mom (this year I get to help out with the snack shack and schedules) and the boys get to play one of their favorite sports! (They also play Soccer, and do a sports camp each summer). I have to say, I look forward to this time of year also for the interaction with the parents! We have met so many great people and friends in the last 5 years with our league, I love getting back into the swing of it!

We had practice today for Aidan's team (which my Husband is a coach of) and I took some pictures of the kids, practicing. I am not going to include any of the pictures with the other kids (and in the one picture with my husband, I blobbed out the two children's faces that were in the picture with him) out of respect for them and their families (I emailed all the pictures to the families, so they got to save and keep them).

It was raining off and on, so you can see that in one of the pictures :) You can click on any of the pictures to see them at full size.

Okay I better get going, we have lots of homework! I will post more later!

Jan Little Red Scrapbook DT designs...

I received my LRS Jan kit a couple days before we left for our Idaho trip to visit my hubby's family who moved there a few years ago from California. The whole time I was there I kept thinking about this kit, sitting at home opened on my desk just waiting for me to play with it :) sadly when we got home, I was so tired and sick (along with the kids) that I did not open it until pretty much close to the due date. I have been super busy with so much going on here at home with the kids, family, school (both the kids and I), and more personal stuff that it's been hard to scrapbook! I am finally finding a place where things are less busy and I can now sit in my office and "create" some stuff! I had a couple "personal" projects I needed to finish up for a family member and a friend, and thankfully those are now done and they should be receiving them soon :) I have also been working on my ETSY shop stuff, I have about 40 cards to add to my store, a couple layouts, some yummy 3D embellishments and a BRAND new project I have been working hard on for the store. I am hoping they will be a BIG hit! They take alot of time to make them perfect and I hope the three people I sent the first ones off to like them! :)

Okay, moving on....back to the Jan LRS kit :) Here are the rest of my designs...

The kit and add on kits...
