Life lesson from Maya

Todays blog post is going to be a few quotes from my all time favorite Poet ever ~Maya Angelou~. I have been a HUGE fan since I was younger (we are talking 4th grade and me discovering this wonderfully talented woman! In my Highschool Drama class we were suppose to do solo sessions on the stage in front of the class, When It was my turn I taught the class a little something about a Woman ;) ...

Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,They think I'm telling lies.

Men themselves have wondered What they see in me.

Now this is what Maya and her amazing words do to me, when you hear or read something so amazing, so intense, You get a feeling for it, Maya has always had an affect on me, what might that be? Well I can relate to it, so much so that everything she says (that I read or hear) gives me these chills, hair standing up on the back of my neck, tears in my eyes, I feel it, I get it! It's me! She speaks from the heart, she speaks what most feel. She is amazing! She is phenomenal.
